ద్వితీయోపదేశకాండమ 16

1 ఆబీబు నెలను ఆచరించి నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు పస్కాపండుగ జరిగింపవలెను. ఏలయనగా ఆబీబునెలలో రాత్రివేళ నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఐగుప్తులొ నుండి నిన్ను రప్పించెను.

2 యెహోవా తన నామమును స్థాపించుటకై ఏర్పరచుకొను స్థలములోనె నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు పస్కాను ఆచరించి, గొఱ్ఱ మేకలలో గాని గోవులలోగాని బలి అర్పింపవలెను.

4 నీ ప్రాంతము లన్నిటిలో ఏడు దినములు పొంగినదేదైనను కనబడకూడదు. మరియు నీవు మొదటి తేది సాయంకాలమున వధించిన దాని మాంసములో కొంచెమైనను ఉదయమువరకు మిగిలి యుండ కూడదు.

5 నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకిచ్చుచున్న పురములలో దేనియందైనను పస్కా పశువును వధింప కూడదు.

6 నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా తన నామమును స్థాపించుటకై ఏర్పరచుకొను స్థలములోనే నీవు ఐగుప్తులోనుండి బయలుదేరి వచ్చినవేళను, అనగా సూర్యుడు అస్త మించు సాయంకాలమున పస్కా పశువును వధించి

7 నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఏర్పరచుకొను స్థలమున దానిని కాల్చి భుజించి, ఉదయమున తిరిగి నీ గుడారములకు వెళ్లవలెను. ఆరు దినములు నీవు పొంగని రొట్టెలు తిన వలెను.

8 ఏడవ దినము నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు వ్రత దినము, అందులో నీవు జీవనోపాధియైన యేపనియు చేయ కూడదు.

9 ఏడు వారములను నీవు లెక్కింపవలెను. పంట చేని పైని కొడవలి మొదట వేసినది మొదలుకొని యేడు వార ములను లెక్కించి

10 నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు వారముల పండుగ ఆచరించుటకై నీ చేతనైనంత స్వేచ్ఛార్పణమును సిద్ధపరచవలెను. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నిన్ను ఆశీర్వ దించినకొలది దాని నియ్యవలెను.

11 అప్పుడు నీవును నీ కుమారుడును నీ కుమార్తెయును నీ దాసుడును నీ దాసి యును నీ గ్రామములలోనున్న లేవీయులును నీ మధ్య నున్న పరదేశులును తలిదండ్రులు లేనివారును విధవ రాండ్రును నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా తన నామమును స్థాపించుటకై ఏర్పరచుకొను స్థలమున నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా సన్నిధిని సంతోషింపవలెను.

12 నీవు ఐగు ప్తులో దాసుడవై యుండిన సంగతిని జ్ఞాపకముచేసికొని, యీ కట్టడలను ఆచరించి జరుపుకొనవలెను.

13 నీ కళ్లములోనుండి ధాన్యమును నీ తొట్టిలోనుండి రసమును సమకూర్చినప్పుడు పర్ణశాలల పండుగను ఏడు దినములు ఆచరింపవలెను.

14 ఈ పండుగలో నీవును నీ కుమారుడును నీ కుమార్తెయును నీ దాసుడును నీ దాసి యును నీ గ్రామములలోనున్న లేవీయులును పరదేశు లును తలిదండ్రులు లేనివారును విధవరాండ్రును సంతో షింపవలెను.

16 ఏటికి మూడు మారులు, అనగా పొంగని రొట్టెలపండుగలోను వారములపండుగలోను పర్ణశాలల పండుగలోను నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా ఏర్పరచుకొను స్థలమున నీ మగవారందరు ఆయన సన్నిధిని కనబడవలెను.

17 వారు వట్టిచేతు లతో యెహోవా సన్నిధిని కనబడక, నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ కనుగ్రహించిన దీవెన చొప్పున ప్రతి వాడును తన శక్తికొలది యియ్యవలెను.

18 నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ కిచ్చుచున్న నీ గ్రామము లన్నిటను నీ గోత్రములకు న్యాయాధిపతులను నాయ కులను నీవు ఏర్పరచుకొనవలెను. వారు న్యాయమును బట్టి జనులకు తీర్పుతీర్చవలెను.

19 నీవు న్యాయము తప్పి తీర్పుతీర్చకూడదు; పక్షపాతము చేయకూడదు; లంచము పుచ్చుకొనకూడదు. ఏలయనగా లంచము జ్ఞానుల కన్ను లకు గ్రుడ్డితనము కలుగజేయును నీతి మంతుల మాటలకు అపార్థము పుట్టించును.

20 నీవు జీవించి నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకిచ్చుచున్న దేశమును స్వాధీనపరచుకొను నట్లు కేవలము న్యాయమునే అనుసరించి నడుచుకొన వలెను.

21 నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు నీవు కట్టు బలిపీఠము సమీ పమున ఏవిధమైన వృక్షమును నాటకూడదు, దేవతా స్తంభమును ఏర్పరచకూడదు.

22 నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా విగ్రహమును ద్వేషించువాడు గనుక నీవు ఏ స్తంభము నైన నిలువబెట్టకూడదు.

1 Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the Lord thy God: for in the month of Abib the Lord thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.

2 Thou shalt therefore sacrifice the passover unto the Lord thy God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which the Lord shall choose to place his name there.

3 Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.

4 And there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days; neither shall there any thing of the flesh, which thou sacrificedst the first day at even, remain all night until the morning.

5 Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates, which the Lord thy God giveth thee:

6 But at the place which the Lord thy God shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.

7 And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents.

8 Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the Lord thy God: thou shalt do no work therein.

9 Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: begin to number the seven weeks from such time as thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn.

10 And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto the Lord thy God with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto the Lord thy God, according as the Lord thy God hath blessed thee:

11 And thou shalt rejoice before the Lord thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the Lord thy God hath chosen to place his name there.

12 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.

13 Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:

14 And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.

15 Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the Lord thy God in the place which the Lord shall choose: because the Lord thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.

16 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the Lord empty:

17 Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee.

18 Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.

19 Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.

20 That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

21 Thou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the Lord thy God, which thou shalt make thee.

22 Neither shalt thou set thee up any image; which the Lord thy God hateth.
