యెహోషువ సున్నతి చేయించుటకు హేతువేమనగా, ఐగుప్తులోనుండి బయలు దేరినవారందరిలో యుద్ధసన్నద్ధులైన పురుషులందరు ఐగుప్తు మార్గమున అరణ్యములో చనిపోయిరి.
