2 Chronicles 34:3
తన యేలుబడి యందు ఎనిమిదవ సంవత్సరమున తానింకను బాలుడై యుండగానే అతడు తన పితరుడైన దావీదుయొక్క దేవునియొద్ద విచారించుటకు పూనుకొనినవాడై, పండ్రెండవయేట ఉన్నతస్థలములను దేవతాస్తంభములను పడగొట్టి, చెక్కిన విగ్రహములను పోతవిగ్రహములను తీసివేసి, యూదాదేశమును యెరూషలేమును పవిత్రముచేయ నారంభించెను.
