(ఆ యిద్దరు పురుషులు) ఆయనయొద్ద నుండి వెళ్లిపోవుచుండగా పేతురు యేసుతోఏలిన వాడా, మనమిక్కడ ఉండుట మంచిది, నీకు ఒకటియు మోషేకు ఒకటియు ఏలీయాకు ఒకటియు మూడు పర్ణ శాలలు మేముకట్టుదుమని, తాను చెప్పినది తానెరుగకయే చెప్పెను.

அப்பொழுது ஒரு வேலைக்காரி அவன் நெருப்பின் அருகிலே உட்கார்ந்திருக்கக்கண்டு, அவனை உற்றுப்பார்த்து: இவனும் அவனோடு இருந்தான் என்றாள்.

ஒரு வேலைக்காரச் சிறுமி பேதுரு உட்கார்ந்திருப்பதைக் கண்டாள். நெருப்பின் ஒளியில் அவனை அவள் பார்க்க முடிந்தது. அவனுடைய முகத்தைக் கூர்ந்து நோக்கினாள். பின்பு அவள், “இந்த மனிதனும் அவரோடு (இயேசு) கூட இருந்தான்” என்றாள்.
