Judges 14 in Telugu

1 సమ్సోను తిమ్నాతునకు వెళ్లి తిమ్నాతులో ఫిలిష్తీ యుల కుమార్తెలలో ఒకతెను చూచెను.

2 అతడు తిరిగి వచ్చితిమ్నాతులో ఫిలిష్తీయుల కుమార్తెలలో ఒకతెను చూచితిని, మీరు ఆమెను నాకిచ్చి పెండ్లి చేయవలెనని తన తలిదండ్రులతో అనగా

3 వారునీ స్వజనుల కుమార్తెల లోనేగాని నా జనులలోనేగాని స్త్రీ లేదను కొని, సున్నతి పొందని ఫిలిష్తీయులలోనుండి కన్యను తెచ్చుకొనుటకు వెళ్లు చున్నావా? అని అతని నడిగిరి. అందుకు సమ్సోనుఆమె నాకిష్టమైనది గనుక ఆమెను నాకొరకు తెప్పించుమని తన తండ్రితో చెప్పెను.

4 అయితే ఫిలిష్తీయులకేమైన చేయు టకై యెహోవాచేత అతడు రేపబడెనన్న మాట అతని తలిదండ్రులు తెలిసికొనలేదు. ఆ కాలమున ఫిలిష్తీ యులు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను ఏలుచుండిరి.

5 అప్పుడు సమ్సోను తన తలిదండ్రులతోకూడ తిమ్నాతు నకుపోయి, తిమ్నాతు ద్రాక్షతోటలవరకు వచ్చినప్పుడు, కొదమసింహము అతని యెదుటికి బొబ్బరించుచువచ్చెను.

6 యెహోవా ఆత్మ అతనిని ప్రేరేపింపగా అతనిచేతిలో ఏమియు లేకపోయినను, ఒకడు మేకపిల్లను చీల్చునట్లు అతడు దానిని చీల్చెను. అతడు తాను చేసినది తన తండ్రితోనైనను తల్లితో నైనను చెప్పలేదు.

7 అతడు అక్క డికి వెళ్లి ఆ స్త్రీతో మాటలాడినప్పుడు ఆమెయందు సమ్సోనుకు ఇష్టము కలిగెను.

8 ​కొంతకాలమైన తరువాత అతడు ఆమెను తీసికొని వచ్చుటకు తిరిగి వెళ్లుచుండగా, ఆ సింహపు కళేబరమును చూచుటకై ఆ వైపు తిరిగినప్పుడు, సింహపుకళేబరములో తేనెటీగల గుంపును తేనెయు కన బడగా

9 అతడు ఆ తేనె చేత నుంచుకొని తినుచు వెళ్లుచు తన తలిదండ్రులయొద్దకు వచ్చి వారికి కొంత నియ్యగా వారును తినిరి. అయితే తాను సింహపు కళేబరములో నుండి ఆ తేనెను తీసిన సంగతి వారికి తెలియజేయలేదు.

10 అంతట అతని తండ్రి ఆ స్త్రీని చూడబోయినప్పుడు సమ్సోను విందుచేసెను. అచ్చటి పెండ్లికుమారులు అట్లు చేయుట మర్యాద.

11 వారు అతని చూచినప్పుడు అతని యొద్ద నుండుటకు ముప్పది మంది స్నేహితులను తోడుకొని వచ్చిరి.

12 అప్పుడు సమ్సోనుమీకిష్టమైనయెడల నేను మీ యెదుట ఒక విప్పుడు కథను వేసెదను; మీరు ఈ విందు జరుగు ఏడు దినములలోగా దాని భావమును నాకు తెలిపిన యెడల నేను ముప్పది సన్నపు నారబట్టలను ముప్పది దుస్తులను మీ కిచ్చెదను.

13 ​మీరు దాని నాకు తెలుపలేక పోయినయెడల మీరు ముప్పది సన్నపు నారబట్టలను ముప్పది దుస్తులను నాకియ్యవలెనని వారితో చెప్పగా వారుమేము ఒప్పుకొందుము, నీ విప్పుడు కథను వేయుమని అతనితో చెప్పిరి.

14 ​కాగా అతడు బలమైనదానిలోనుండి తీపి వచ్చెను,తిను దానిలోనుండి తిండి వచ్చెను అనెను.మూడు దినములలోగా వారు ఆ విప్పుడు కథ భావమును చెప్పలేకపోయిరి.

15 ఏడవ దినమున వారు సమ్సోను భార్యతో ఇట్ల నిరినీ పెనిమిటి ఆ విప్పుడు కథభావమును మాకు తెలుపునట్లు అతని లాలనచేయుము, లేనియెడల మేము అగ్ని వేసి నిన్ను నీ తండ్రి యింటివారిని కాల్చివేసెదము; మా ఆస్తిని స్వాధీన పరచుకొనుటకే మమ్మును పిలిచితిరా? అనిరి.

16 కాబట్టి సమ్సోను భార్య అతని పాదములయొద్ద పడి యేడ్చుచునీవు నన్ను ద్వేషించితివి గాని ప్రేమింపలేదు. నీవు నా జనులకు ఒక విప్పుడు కథను వేసితివి, దాని నాకు తెలుప వైతివి అనగా అతడునేను నా తలిదండ్రులకైనను దాని తెలుపలేదు, నీకు తెలుపుదునా? అనినప్పుడు ఆమె వారి విందు దినములు ఏడింటను అతనియొద్ద ఏడ్చు చువచ్చెను.

17 ఏడవదినమున ఆమె అతని తొందర పెట్టినందున అతడు ఆమెకు దాని తెలియజేయగా ఆమె తన జనులకు ఆ విప్పుడు కథను తెలిపెను.

18 ఏడవదినమున సూర్యుడు అస ్తమింపకమునుపు ఆ ఊరివారు తేనెకంటె తీపియైనదేది?సింహముకంటె బలమైనదేది? అని అతనితో అనగా అతడునా దూడతో దున్నకపోయినయెడల నా విప్పుడు కథను విప్పలేకయుందురని వారితో చెప్పెను.

19 యెహోవా ఆత్మ అతనిమీదికి మరల రాగా అతడు అష్కెలోనుకు పోయి వారిలో ముప్పదిమందిని చంపి వారి సొమ్మును దోచుకొని తన విప్పుడు కథ భావమును చెప్పినవారికి బట్టలనిచ్చెను.

20 అతడు కోపించి తన తండ్రి యింటికి వెళ్లగా అతని భార్య అతడు స్నేహితునిగా భావించుకొనిన అతని చెలికాని కియ్యబడెను.

1 And Samson went down to Timnath, and saw a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines.

2 And he came up, and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines: now therefore get her for me to wife.

3 Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well.

4 But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the Lord, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel.

5 Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the vineyards of Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him.

6 And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done.

7 And he went down, and talked with the woman; and she pleased Samson well.

8 And after a time he returned to take her, and he turned aside to see the carcase of the lion: and, behold, there was a swarm of bees and honey in the carcase of the lion.

9 And he took thereof in his hands, and went on eating, and came to his father and mother, and he gave them, and they did eat: but he told not them that he had taken the honey out of the carcase of the lion.

10 So his father went down unto the woman: and Samson made there a feast; for so used the young men to do.

11 And it came to pass, when they saw him, that they brought thirty companions to be with him.

12 And Samson said unto them, I will now put forth a riddle unto you: if ye can certainly declare it me within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty sheets and thirty change of garments:

13 But if ye cannot declare it me, then shall ye give me thirty sheets and thirty change of garments. And they said unto him, Put forth thy riddle, that we may hear it.

14 And he said unto them, Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness. And they could not in three days expound the riddle.

15 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto Samson’s wife, Entice thy husband, that he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father’s house with fire: have ye called us to take that we have? is it not so?

16 And Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and shall I tell it thee?

17 And she wept before him the seven days, while their feast lasted: and it came to pass on the seventh day, that he told her, because she lay sore upon him: and she told the riddle to the children of her people.

18 And the men of the city said unto him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey? and what is stronger than a lion? And he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had not found out my riddle.

19 And the Spirit of the Lord came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father’s house.

20 But Samson’s wife was given to his companion, whom he had used as his friend.

“யூதரல்லாத விசுவாசிகளுக்கு நாங்கள் ஏற்கெனவே ஒரு கடிதம் அனுப்பியுள்ளோம். அக்கடிதம், ‘விக்கிரகங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட உணவை உண்ணாதீர்கள். இரத்தத்தை ருசிக்காதீர்கள், நெரித்துக்கொல்லப்பட்ட மிருகங்களை உண்ணாதீர்கள், பாலியல் தொடர்பான பாவங்களைச் செய்யாதீர்கள்’ என்று கூறிற்று” என்றார்கள்.
