Jeremiah 16:6
ఘనులేమి అల్పులేమి యీ దేశమందున్నవారు చనిపోయి పాతిపెట్టబడరు, వారి నిమిత్తము ఎవరును అంగలార్చకుందురు, ఎవరును తమ్మును తాము కోసికొన కుందురు, వారి నిమిత్తము ఎవరును తమ్మును తాము బోడి చేసికొనకుందురు.

| neither | וְלֹֽא | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| shall men lament | יִסְפְּד֣וּ | yispĕdû | yees-peh-DOO |
| for them, nor | לָהֶ֔ם | lāhem | la-HEM |
| themselves, cut | וְלֹ֣א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| nor | יִתְגֹּדַ֔ד | yitgōdad | yeet-ɡoh-DAHD |
| make themselves bald | וְלֹ֥א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
