Isaiah 5:24
సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవాయొక్క ధర్మ శాస్త్రమును నిర్లక్ష్యపెట్టుదురు ఇశ్రాయేలుయొక్క పరిశుద్ధదేవుని వాక్కును తృణీక రించుదురు. కాబట్టి అగ్నిజ్వాల కొయ్యకాలును కాల్చివేయు నట్లు ఎండిన గడ్డి మంటలో భస్మమగునట్లు వారి వేరు కుళ్లి పోవును వారి పువ్వు ధూళివలె పైకి ఎగిరిపోవును.

| chaff, the | יִרְפֶּ֔ה | yirpe | yeer-PEH |
| so their root | שָׁרְשָׁם֙ | šoršām | shore-SHAHM |
| shall be | כַּמָּ֣ק | kammāq | ka-MAHK |
| rottenness, as | יִֽהְיֶ֔ה | yihĕye | yee-heh-YEH |
| and their blossom | וּפִרְחָ֖ם | ûpirḥām | oo-feer-HAHM |
| up go shall | כָּאָבָ֣ק | kāʾābāq | ka-ah-VAHK |
| as dust: | יַעֲלֶ֑ה | yaʿăle | ya-uh-LEH |
| because | כִּ֣י | kî | kee |
| away cast have they | מָאֲס֗וּ | māʾăsû | ma-uh-SOO |
| אֵ֚ת | ʾēt | ate | |
| the law | תּוֹרַת֙ | tôrat | toh-RAHT |
| Lord the of | יְהוָ֣ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| of hosts, | צְבָא֔וֹת | ṣĕbāʾôt | tseh-va-OTE |
| and despised | וְאֵ֛ת | wĕʾēt | veh-ATE |
| word the | אִמְרַ֥ת | ʾimrat | eem-RAHT |
| of the Holy One | קְדֽוֹשׁ | qĕdôš | keh-DOHSH |
| of Israel. | יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
