Isaiah 13:9
యెహోవా దినము వచ్చుచున్నది. దేశమును పాడుచేయుటకును పాపులను బొత్తిగా దానిలోనుండకుండ నశింపజేయుట కును క్రూరమైన ఉగ్రతతోను ప్రచండమైన కోపము తోను అది వచ్చును.

| anger, | אָ֑ף | ʾāp | af |
| lay to | לָשׂ֤וּם | lāśûm | la-SOOM |
| the land | הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-RETS |
| desolate: | לְשַׁמָּ֔ה | lĕšammâ | leh-sha-MA |
| destroy shall he and | וְחַטָּאֶ֖יהָ | wĕḥaṭṭāʾêhā | veh-ha-ta-A-ha |
| the sinners | יַשְׁמִ֥יד | yašmîd | yahsh-MEED |
| thereof out of | מִמֶּֽנָּה׃ | mimmennâ | mee-MEH-na |
