Hosea 7:16
వారు తిరుగుదురు గాని సర్వోన్నతుడైన వానియొద్దకు తిరుగరు; వారు అక్కరకురాని విల్లువలె నున్నారు; వారి యధిపతులు తాము పలికిన గర్వపు మాటలలో చిక్కుపడి కత్తి పాలగుదురు. ఈలాగున వారు ఐగుప్తుదేశములో అపహాస్యము నొందుదురు.

| bow: | רְמִיָּ֔ה | rĕmiyyâ | reh-mee-YA |
| princes their | יִפְּל֥וּ | yippĕlû | yee-peh-LOO |
| shall fall | בַחֶ֛רֶב | baḥereb | va-HEH-rev |
| sword the by | שָׂרֵיהֶ֖ם | śārêhem | sa-ray-HEM |
| for the rage | מִזַּ֣עַם | mizzaʿam | mee-ZA-am |
| tongue: their of | לְשׁוֹנָ֑ם | lĕšônām | leh-shoh-NAHM |
| this | ז֥וֹ | zô | zoh |
| derision their be shall | לַעְגָּ֖ם | laʿgām | la-ɡAHM |
