Genesis 35:3
మనము లేచి బేతేలునకు వెళ్లుదము; నాశ్రమ దినమున నాకుత్తర మిచ్చి నేను వెళ్లిన మార్గమున నాకు తోడైయుండిన దేవునికి బలిపీఠమును అక్కడ కట్టెదనని చెప్పెను.

| up go and | וְנַֽעֲלֶ֖ה | wĕnaʿăle | veh-na-uh-LEH |
| to Beth-el; | בֵּֽית | bêt | bate |
| make will I and | אֵ֑ל | ʾēl | ale |
| there | וְאֶֽעֱשֶׂה | wĕʾeʿĕśe | veh-EH-ay-seh |
| an altar | שָּׁ֣ם | šām | shahm |
| unto God, | מִזְבֵּ֗חַ | mizbēaḥ | meez-BAY-ak |
| answered who | לָאֵ֞ל | lāʾēl | la-ALE |
| me in the day | הָֽעֹנֶ֤ה | hāʿōne | ha-oh-NEH |
| of my distress, | אֹתִי֙ | ʾōtiy | oh-TEE |
| was and | בְּי֣וֹם | bĕyôm | beh-YOME |
| with me in the way | צָֽרָתִ֔י | ṣārātî | tsa-ra-TEE |
| which | וַֽיְהִי֙ | wayhiy | va-HEE |
| I went. | עִמָּדִ֔י | ʿimmādî | ee-ma-DEE |
| בַּדֶּ֖רֶךְ | badderek | ba-DEH-rek | |
| אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER | |
| הָלָֽכְתִּי׃ | hālākĕttî | ha-LA-heh-tee |
