నేను నీ పేరట మాటలాడుటకు ఫరో యొద్దకు వచ్చినప్పటినుండి అతడు ఈ జనులకు కీడే చేయుచున్నాడు, నీ జనులను నీవు విడి పింపను లేదనెను.

1 ଏହାପରେ ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ରୂବନ୍େ ଗାଦ୍ ଓ ମନଃଶି ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧକେ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗମାନଙ୍କୁ ନଇେ ଏକ ସଭା ଡାକିଲେ।
Then Joshua called the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh,
2 ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ମାଶାେ ଥିଲେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସବେକ। ମାଶାେ ଯାହା କହିଥିଲେ, ଆପଣାମାନେ ତାଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ଯ ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟସା ରେ ସମସ୍ତ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସର୍ବୋପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାରେ ଆଜ୍ଞା ମାନିଛ।
And said unto them, Ye have kept all that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, and have obeyed my voice in all that I commanded you:
3 ଏବଂ ସବୁ ସମୟରେ ଆପଣମାନେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲମାନଙ୍କୁ ସହ ଯୋଗ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଆପଣମାନେ ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ଯକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଠିକ୍ ଭାବରେ ଅତି ସତର୍କତାର ସହକା ରେ ପାଳନ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏହି ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କଲ।
Ye have not left your brethren these many days unto this day, but have kept the charge of the commandment of the Lord your God.
4 ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲବାସୀଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଶାନ୍ତି ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲେ। ଏବଂ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ଯ ରକ୍ଷା କରିଛନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସ୍ବଗୃହକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପ୍ରତ୍ଯାବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରିପାରିବ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସବେକ ମାଶାେ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ନଦୀର ପୂର୍ବ ପାଶର୍ବ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୂମି ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି। ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଠାେକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସ୍ବଗୃହକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟାଇପାର।
And now the Lord your God hath given rest unto your brethren, as he promised them: therefore now return ye, and get you unto your tents, and unto the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you on the other side Jordan.
5 କିନ୍ତୁ ମନରେଖ-ସର୍ବଦା ମାଶାେ ଦଇେଥିବା ନିଯମକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ପାଳନ କରିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଭାବରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶଓରଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ ରମେ କରିବ। ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କ ଆଦେଶ ସର୍ବଦା ମାନି ଚଳିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଭାବରେ ତାହା ମନପ୍ରାଣ ଦଇେ ପାଳନ କରିବ।
But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
6 ଏହାପରେ ୟିହୋଶୂଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କଲେ ଓ ପଠଇେ ଦେଲେ। ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଗୃହକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପ୍ରତ୍ଯାବର୍ତ୍ତନ କଲେ।
So Joshua blessed them, and sent them away: and they went unto their tents.
7 ମାଶାେ ମନଃଶିର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧବଂଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାଶନ ରେ ଅଧିକାର ଦଇେଥିଲେ। ମାତ୍ର ଅନ୍ୟ ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧବଂଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନର ପଶ୍ଚିମ ପାରି ରେ ଅଧିକାର ଦେଲେ। ଆହକ୍ସ୍ଟରି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିଦାଯ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ।
Now to the one half of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had given possession in Bashan: but unto the other half thereof gave Joshua among their brethren on this side Jordan westward. And when Joshua sent them away also unto their tents, then he blessed them,
8 ସେ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ଧନ ସଐଦ ଓ ପଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଗଣ ସହିତ ଘରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟାଅ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ଦାମି ସକ୍ସ୍ଟନାରୂପା ଅଳଙ୍କାର ଇତ୍ଯାଦି ଅଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ସକ୍ସ୍ଟନ୍ଦର ପୋଷାକ ମଧ୍ଯ ଅଛି। ଯେଉଁଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଡାକ କି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ଶତୃମାନଙ୍କଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଛଡାଇ ଆଣିଲେ। ଗୃହକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେିୟାଅ ଏବଂ ସଗେକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନିଜ ନିଜ ଭାତୃଗଣଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ବାଣ୍ଟି ଦିଅ।
And he spake unto them, saying, Return with much riches unto your tents, and with very much cattle, with silver, and with gold, and with brass, and with iron, and with very much raiment: divide the spoil of your enemies with your brethren.
9 ତେଣୁ ରୂବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ୍ ଓ ମନଃଶିର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧକେ ବଂଶଧରର ଲୋକମାନେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ବଂଶଧରଙ୍କଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବିଦାଯ ନେଲେ। କିଣାନ ଦେଶ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ଶୀଲୋଠା ରେ ସମାନେେ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସେ ସ୍ଥାନ ଛାଡି ଗିଲିଯଦକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସଠାେରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତାଙ୍କ ସ୍ବଭୂମିକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗଲେ ଯାହାକି ମାଶାେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଦଇେଥିଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାଶାଙ୍କେକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମଧ୍ଯ ସେ ଭୂମି ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦଇେଥିଲେ।
And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go unto the country of Gilead, to the land of their possession, whereof they were possessed, according to the word of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
10 ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ ଗାଦ ଏବଂ ମନଃଶିର ପରିବାର ଲୋକମାନେ ଗିଲିଯଦକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେିଗଲେ। ସେ ସ୍ଥାନଟି ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ନଦୀ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଥିଲା କିଣାନୀଯ ଦେଶ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ। ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ସମାନେେ ଏକ ସକ୍ସ୍ଟନ୍ଦରବତ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ।
And when they came unto the borders of Jordan, that are in the land of Canaan, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh built there an altar by Jordan, a great altar to see to.
11 କିନ୍ତୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକ ଯେଉଁମାନେ କି ତଥାପି ଶିଲୋ ରେ ରହିଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସେ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ କଥା ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ପାଇଲେ ଯେ, ଏହି ବଂଶଧରମାନେ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି। ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଏହି ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀଟି କିଣାନୀଯ ଦେଶର ସୀମା ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ଗିଲିଯଦଠା ରେ କରାୟାଇଛି, ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ପାଇଲେ। ଏହା ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ପାଖସ୍ଥ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କ ଅଧିକୃତ ପାଶର୍ବ ରେ ଥିଲା।
And the children of Israel heard say, Behold, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh have built an altar over against the land of Canaan, in the borders of Jordan, at the passage of the children of Israel.
12 ସମସ୍ତ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗଗଣ ସହେି ତିନି ବଂଶ ଉପରେ ରାଗିଲେ। ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟିବା ପାଇଁ ଶିଲୋଠା ରେ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ହେଲେ।
And when the children of Israel heard of it, the whole congregation of the children of Israel gathered themselves together at Shiloh, to go up to war against them.
13 ଏଣୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ କିଛି ଲୋକଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ୍ ଏବଂ ମନଃଶି ବଂଶର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା କରିବାକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ନତେୃତ୍ବ ପୀନହାସ ନଇଗେଲେ, ଯେ କି ଥିଲେ ଇଲିଯାସ ଯାଜକର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର।
And the children of Israel sent unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasseh, into the land of Gilead, Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest,
14 ସମାନେେ ଦଶଜଣ ପ୍ରତିନିଧିକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଠାଇଲେ, ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଜଣେ ଶିଯୋଲ ଗିଲିଯଦଠା ରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ନିଜ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ମୂଖ୍ଯ ଥିଲେ।
And with him ten princes, of each chief house a prince throughout all the tribes of Israel; and each one was an head of the house of their fathers among the thousands of Israel.
15 ଏହିପରି ଭାବରେ ଗିଲିଯଦକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗଲେ। ଏହି ଏଗାରଜଣ ଲୋକ ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ ଓ ମନଃଶିର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧବଂଶଙ୍କ ସହିତ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା କରିବାକୁ ଗଲେ। ଏହି ଏଗାର ଜଣ ଲୋକ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ।
And they came unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasseh, unto the land of Gilead, and they spake with them, saying,
16 ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ବଂଶଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଗ୍ଭରକ୍ସ୍ଟଅଛି, କାହିଁକି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଏପରି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲ? ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କାହିଁକି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧାଚରଣ କଲ? କାହିଁକି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲ? ଏହା କଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନୀତି ବାହା ରେ ନକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହେଁ! ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଠିକ୍ ରୂପେ ଜାଣ।
Thus saith the whole congregation of the Lord, What trespass is this that ye have committed against the God of Israel, to turn away this day from following the Lord, in that ye have builded you an altar, that ye might rebel this day against the Lord?
17 ପିୟୋର କ'ଣ ଘଟିଲା ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତାହା ମନେଅଛି? ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସହେି ମହାପାପପାଇଁ ଏପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ କଷ୍ଟ ଭୋଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଅଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାସିନ୍ଦାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମହାମାରୀ ରକ୍ସ୍ଟଗ୍ଣ କଲେ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସହେି ମହାମାରୀ ଏପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଭୋଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଅଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ।
Is the iniquity of Peor too little for us, from which we are not cleansed until this day, although there was a plague in the congregation of the Lord,
18 ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଠିକ୍ ସହେି ପାପ କରୁଛ! ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧାଚରଣ କଲ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ବିଦ୍ରୋହ କଲ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏପରି ବ୍ଯବହାର କାହିଁକି ଦଖାେଉଛ? ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମଗ୍ର ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କ ଉପରେ କ୍ରୋଧିତ ହବେେ।
But that ye must turn away this day from following the Lord? and it will be, seeing ye rebel to day against the Lord, that to morrow he will be wroth with the whole congregation of Israel.
19 ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଧିକାର ଦେଶ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଉପାସନା କରିବାକୁ ଅନିଛକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଏ, ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଳାଇ ଆସ। ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆବାସ ବାସ କରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସହେି ଅଧିକାର ଦେଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆ ସେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧାଚରଣ କର ନାହିଁ। କଦାପି ଅନ୍ୟ ଏକ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରନାହିଁ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଯେଉଁ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଅଛି ତା ଛଡା ଅନ୍ୟ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ ନ କର।
Notwithstanding, if the land of your possession be unclean, then pass ye over unto the land of the possession of the Lord, wherein the Lord’s tabernacle dwelleth, and take possession among us: but rebel not against the Lord, nor rebel against us, in building you an altar beside the altar of the Lord our God.
20 ମନରେଖ ସରହରେ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଆଖନ, ବର୍ଜିତ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ବିଷଯ ରେ ସତ୍ଯ ଲଂଘନ କରନ୍ତେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ମଣ୍ତଳିକି କୋରଧ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପଡିଲା, କବଳେ ସହେି ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ନିଯମ ଭଙ୍ଗ କଲା କିନ୍ତୁ ସମସ୍ତ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲଗଣ ତା'ର ଦଣ୍ତ ଭୋଗିଲେ। ଆଖନ କବଳେ ତା'ର ପାପ ପାଇଁ ମଲା। ଏବଂ ତା'ର ପାପ ପାଇଁ ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ଲୋକ ମଧ୍ଯ ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯବରଣ କଲେ।
Did not Achan the son of Zerah commit a trespass in the accursed thing, and wrath fell on all the congregation of Israel? and that man perished not alone in his iniquity.
21 ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ ଓ ମନଃଶିର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗଗଣ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ମୂଖ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଇେ କହିଲେ,
Then the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh answered, and said unto the heads of the thousands of Israel,
22 ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ବର! ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଆମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ବର। ଏବଂ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଜାଣନ୍ତି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏପରି କାହିଁକି କଲକ୍ସ୍ଟ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜଣାଇ ଦବୋକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗ୍ଭହକ୍ସ୍ଟଁ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ କ'ଣ କରିଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବିଗ୍ଭର କର। ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହା ବିଶ୍ବାସ କର କି ବିଗ୍ଭର କର ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ କିଛି ଭୂଲ କରିଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ, ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହତ୍ଯା କରିପାର।
The Lord God of gods, the Lord God of gods, he knoweth, and Israel he shall know; if it be in rebellion, or if in transgression against the Lord, (save us not this day,)
23 ଯଦି ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ନିଯମ ଭଙ୍ଗ କରିଥାଉ, ତବେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସ୍ବହସ୍ତ ରେ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦିଅନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ।
That we have built us an altar to turn from following the Lord, or if to offer thereon burnt offering or meat offering, or if to offer peace offerings thereon, let the Lord himself require it;
24 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କ'ଣ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରୁଛ ଯେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏହି ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ହୋମ କି ଭକ୍ଷ୍ଯ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ କି ମଙ୍ଗଳାର୍ଥକ ବଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବା ପାଇଁ କ'ଣ ତିଆରି କରିଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ? ନାଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଏହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତିଆରି କରିନାହକ୍ସ୍ଟଁ। ତବେେ କିହିଁକି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲ? ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଚିନ୍ତାଶୀଳ ହାଇେ ଓ ବିଗ୍ଭର କରି ଏହା କରିଅଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ। ଆସନ୍ତା ସମୟରେ କଜାେଣି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ କି ସଐର୍କ।
And if we have not rather done it for fear of this thing, saying, In time to come your children might speak unto our children, saying, What have ye to do with the Lord God of Israel?
25 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ସପୋରି ରେ ଆମ୍ଭକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଭୂମି ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି। ଏହା ଅର୍ଥ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ନଦୀ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଲଗା କରିଅଛି। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆଶଙ୍କା କରୁଅଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପିଲା ବଡ ହାଇେ ଦେଶ ଶାସନ କରିବେ ସମାନେେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ ଯେ କି ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଲୋକ ବୋଲି। ସମାନେେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ବଡ ହାଇେ ଶାସନ କରିବେ, ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏପରି କହି ବି ପାରନ୍ତି, 'ତୁମ୍ଭେ, ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ , ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଅଂଶ ନକ୍ସ୍ଟହଁ।' ଏହାପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପିଲାଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସଠାେରେ ଉପାସନା କରିବାକୁ ମନା କରିପାରନ୍ତି।
For the Lord hath made Jordan a border between us and you, ye children of Reuben and children of Gad; ye have no part in the Lord: so shall your children make our children cease from fearing the Lord.
26 ତେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନଲେକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଏକ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବାକୁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମେ ଏହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହାମବେଳି ପାଇଁ ତିଆରି କରିନାହକ୍ସ୍ଟଁ।
Therefore we said, Let us now prepare to build us an altar, not for burnt offering, nor for sacrifice:
27 ଏହାର ବାସ୍ତବ କାରଣ ହେଲା, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ ବଂଶଧରଗଣଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ତିଆରି କରିଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ଏହା ଦେଖିଲାପରେ ଜାଣି ପାରିବେ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେଉଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉପାସନା କରୁଅଛ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସହେି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଉପାସନା କରୁଅଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ। ଏହି ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରମାଣ ରହିବ ଯେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଉପାସନା କରୁ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶସ୍ଯ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ, ସହଭାଗିତାର ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବକ୍ସ୍ଟ। ତେଣୁ ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପିଲାମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବେ ନାହିଁ ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସହିତ କିଛି କରିବାର ନାହିଁ।
But that it may be a witness between us, and you, and our generations after us, that we might do the service of the Lord before him with our burnt offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings; that your children may not say to our children in time to come, Ye have no part in the Lord.
28 ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଏହିପରି କହି ପାରନ୍ତି। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ନକ୍ସ୍ଟହଁ। ଆମ୍ଭର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଏତ୍ କହିପାରିନ୍ତି, ' ଦେଖ! ଆମ୍ଭର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସହେି ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଠିକ୍ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ପବିତ୍ର ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ବୁ ସମ୍ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଖସ୍ଥିତ ତାଙ୍କ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ପରି। ଏହି ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ହୋମ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ ପାଇଁ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରାୟାଏ ନାହିଁ। ଏହା କବଳେ ପ୍ରମାଣ ମାତ୍ର, ଯେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଏକ ଅଂଶ।'
Therefore said we, that it shall be, when they should so say to us or to our generations in time to come, that we may say again, Behold the pattern of the altar of the Lord, which our fathers made, not for burnt offerings, nor for sacrifices; but it is a witness between us and you.
29 ବାସ୍ତବ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ କବେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବି ରୋଧ ରେ ୟାଇ ନାହକ୍ସ୍ଟଁ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ଯାନକ୍ସ୍ଟସା ରେ ଚଳକ୍ସ୍ଟଅଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହା ଜାଣକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯେ, ଗୋଟିଏ ମାତ୍ର ପବିତ୍ର ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଅଛି ଯାହାକି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଆବାସ ସମ୍ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଖସ୍ଥିତ। ସହେି ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର।
God forbid that we should rebel against the Lord, and turn this day from following the Lord, to build an altar for burnt offerings, for meat offerings, or for sacrifices, beside the altar of the Lord our God that is before his tabernacle.
30 ପୀନହାସ ଯାଜକ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ୟାଇଥିବା ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଖିଆ, ଏହିପରି ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ ଓ ମନଃଶିର ବଂଶର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଶୁଣିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ବକ୍ସ୍ଟଝିଲେ ଯେ ବାସ୍ତବ ରେ ସତକଥା ଏବଂ ଠିକ୍କଥା କହକ୍ସ୍ଟଛନ୍ତି।
And when Phinehas the priest, and the princes of the congregation and heads of the thousands of Israel which were with him, heard the words that the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the children of Manasseh spake, it pleased them.
31 ତେଣୁ ଯାଜକ ପୀନହାସ କହିଲେ, ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଆମେ ଜାଣିଲକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ଏବଂ ଆମେ ଜାଣିଲକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧାଚରଣ କରିନାହିଁ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଖକ୍ସ୍ଟସ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲବାସୀଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ କୌଣସି ଦଣ୍ତ ଦଇେ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି।
And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the children of Manasseh, This day we perceive that the Lord is among us, because ye have not committed this trespass against the Lord: now ye have delivered the children of Israel out of the hand of the Lord.
32 ଏହାପରେ ପୀନହସ୍ ଏବଂ ସମସ୍ତ ମୂଖିଆମାନେ ସେ ସ୍ଥାନ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରି ଗୃହକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ ବଂଶର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସହେି ଗିଲିଯଦ ରେ ଛାଡି କିଣାନ ଦେଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେି ଆସିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେିଆସି ଯାହାସବୁ ଘଟିଥିଲା ତାହା ଜଣାଇଲେ।
And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, and the princes, returned from the children of Reuben, and from the children of Gad, out of the land of Gilead, unto the land of Canaan, to the children of Israel, and brought them word again.
33 ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ ଏକଥା ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ସନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟଷ୍ଟ ହେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ଖକ୍ସ୍ଟସି ହେଲେ ଏବଂ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଧନ୍ଯବାଦ ଜଣାଇଲେ। ସମାନେେ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟନର୍ବାର ନିଷ୍ପତି ନେଲେ, ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ ଓ ମନଃଶିର ବଂଶ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ। ଏବଂ ସେ ସ୍ଥାନଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଯେଉଁଠା ରେ ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ ଓ ମନଃଶିର ବଂଶର ଲୋକମାନେ ବାସ କରୁଛନ୍ତି।
And the thing pleased the children of Israel; and the children of Israel blessed God, and did not intend to go up against them in battle, to destroy the land wherein the children of Reuben and Gad dwelt.
34 ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ ବଂଶଧର ଓ ଗାଦ ବଂଶଧର ସହେି ବଦେୀର ନାମ ଦେଲେ, ସାକ୍ଷୀ ଏହାର ଅର୍ଥ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅଟନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ ରେ ଏହାର ଏହି ହେଉଛି ସାକ୍ଷୀ।
And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad called the altar Ed: for it shall be a witness between us that the Lord is God.

1 ଏହାପରେ ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ରୂବନ୍େ ଗାଦ୍ ଓ ମନଃଶି ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧକେ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗମାନଙ୍କୁ ନଇେ ଏକ ସଭା ଡାକିଲେ।
Then Joshua called the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh,
2 ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ମାଶାେ ଥିଲେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସବେକ। ମାଶାେ ଯାହା କହିଥିଲେ, ଆପଣାମାନେ ତାଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ଯ ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟସା ରେ ସମସ୍ତ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସର୍ବୋପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାରେ ଆଜ୍ଞା ମାନିଛ।
And said unto them, Ye have kept all that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, and have obeyed my voice in all that I commanded you:
3 ଏବଂ ସବୁ ସମୟରେ ଆପଣମାନେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲମାନଙ୍କୁ ସହ ଯୋଗ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଆପଣମାନେ ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ଯକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଠିକ୍ ଭାବରେ ଅତି ସତର୍କତାର ସହକା ରେ ପାଳନ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏହି ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କଲ।
Ye have not left your brethren these many days unto this day, but have kept the charge of the commandment of the Lord your God.
4 ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲବାସୀଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଶାନ୍ତି ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲେ। ଏବଂ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ଯ ରକ୍ଷା କରିଛନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସ୍ବଗୃହକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପ୍ରତ୍ଯାବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରିପାରିବ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସବେକ ମାଶାେ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ନଦୀର ପୂର୍ବ ପାଶର୍ବ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୂମି ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି। ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଠାେକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସ୍ବଗୃହକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟାଇପାର।
And now the Lord your God hath given rest unto your brethren, as he promised them: therefore now return ye, and get you unto your tents, and unto the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you on the other side Jordan.
5 କିନ୍ତୁ ମନରେଖ-ସର୍ବଦା ମାଶାେ ଦଇେଥିବା ନିଯମକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ପାଳନ କରିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଭାବରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶଓରଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ ରମେ କରିବ। ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କ ଆଦେଶ ସର୍ବଦା ମାନି ଚଳିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଭାବରେ ତାହା ମନପ୍ରାଣ ଦଇେ ପାଳନ କରିବ।
But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
6 ଏହାପରେ ୟିହୋଶୂଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କଲେ ଓ ପଠଇେ ଦେଲେ। ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଗୃହକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପ୍ରତ୍ଯାବର୍ତ୍ତନ କଲେ।
So Joshua blessed them, and sent them away: and they went unto their tents.
7 ମାଶାେ ମନଃଶିର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧବଂଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାଶନ ରେ ଅଧିକାର ଦଇେଥିଲେ। ମାତ୍ର ଅନ୍ୟ ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧବଂଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନର ପଶ୍ଚିମ ପାରି ରେ ଅଧିକାର ଦେଲେ। ଆହକ୍ସ୍ଟରି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିଦାଯ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ।
Now to the one half of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had given possession in Bashan: but unto the other half thereof gave Joshua among their brethren on this side Jordan westward. And when Joshua sent them away also unto their tents, then he blessed them,
8 ସେ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ଧନ ସଐଦ ଓ ପଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଗଣ ସହିତ ଘରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟାଅ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ଦାମି ସକ୍ସ୍ଟନାରୂପା ଅଳଙ୍କାର ଇତ୍ଯାଦି ଅଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ସକ୍ସ୍ଟନ୍ଦର ପୋଷାକ ମଧ୍ଯ ଅଛି। ଯେଉଁଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଡାକ କି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ଶତୃମାନଙ୍କଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଛଡାଇ ଆଣିଲେ। ଗୃହକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେିୟାଅ ଏବଂ ସଗେକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନିଜ ନିଜ ଭାତୃଗଣଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ବାଣ୍ଟି ଦିଅ।
And he spake unto them, saying, Return with much riches unto your tents, and with very much cattle, with silver, and with gold, and with brass, and with iron, and with very much raiment: divide the spoil of your enemies with your brethren.
9 ତେଣୁ ରୂବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ୍ ଓ ମନଃଶିର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧକେ ବଂଶଧରର ଲୋକମାନେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ବଂଶଧରଙ୍କଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବିଦାଯ ନେଲେ। କିଣାନ ଦେଶ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ଶୀଲୋଠା ରେ ସମାନେେ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସେ ସ୍ଥାନ ଛାଡି ଗିଲିଯଦକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସଠାେରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତାଙ୍କ ସ୍ବଭୂମିକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗଲେ ଯାହାକି ମାଶାେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଦଇେଥିଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାଶାଙ୍କେକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମଧ୍ଯ ସେ ଭୂମି ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦଇେଥିଲେ।
And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go unto the country of Gilead, to the land of their possession, whereof they were possessed, according to the word of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
10 ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ ଗାଦ ଏବଂ ମନଃଶିର ପରିବାର ଲୋକମାନେ ଗିଲିଯଦକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେିଗଲେ। ସେ ସ୍ଥାନଟି ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ନଦୀ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଥିଲା କିଣାନୀଯ ଦେଶ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ। ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ସମାନେେ ଏକ ସକ୍ସ୍ଟନ୍ଦରବତ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ।
And when they came unto the borders of Jordan, that are in the land of Canaan, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh built there an altar by Jordan, a great altar to see to.
11 କିନ୍ତୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକ ଯେଉଁମାନେ କି ତଥାପି ଶିଲୋ ରେ ରହିଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସେ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ କଥା ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ପାଇଲେ ଯେ, ଏହି ବଂଶଧରମାନେ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି। ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଏହି ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀଟି କିଣାନୀଯ ଦେଶର ସୀମା ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ଗିଲିଯଦଠା ରେ କରାୟାଇଛି, ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ପାଇଲେ। ଏହା ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ପାଖସ୍ଥ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କ ଅଧିକୃତ ପାଶର୍ବ ରେ ଥିଲା।
And the children of Israel heard say, Behold, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh have built an altar over against the land of Canaan, in the borders of Jordan, at the passage of the children of Israel.
12 ସମସ୍ତ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗଗଣ ସହେି ତିନି ବଂଶ ଉପରେ ରାଗିଲେ। ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟିବା ପାଇଁ ଶିଲୋଠା ରେ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ହେଲେ।
And when the children of Israel heard of it, the whole congregation of the children of Israel gathered themselves together at Shiloh, to go up to war against them.
13 ଏଣୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ କିଛି ଲୋକଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ୍ ଏବଂ ମନଃଶି ବଂଶର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା କରିବାକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ନତେୃତ୍ବ ପୀନହାସ ନଇଗେଲେ, ଯେ କି ଥିଲେ ଇଲିଯାସ ଯାଜକର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର।
And the children of Israel sent unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasseh, into the land of Gilead, Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest,
14 ସମାନେେ ଦଶଜଣ ପ୍ରତିନିଧିକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଠାଇଲେ, ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଜଣେ ଶିଯୋଲ ଗିଲିଯଦଠା ରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ନିଜ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ମୂଖ୍ଯ ଥିଲେ।
And with him ten princes, of each chief house a prince throughout all the tribes of Israel; and each one was an head of the house of their fathers among the thousands of Israel.
15 ଏହିପରି ଭାବରେ ଗିଲିଯଦକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗଲେ। ଏହି ଏଗାରଜଣ ଲୋକ ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ ଓ ମନଃଶିର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧବଂଶଙ୍କ ସହିତ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା କରିବାକୁ ଗଲେ। ଏହି ଏଗାର ଜଣ ଲୋକ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ।
And they came unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasseh, unto the land of Gilead, and they spake with them, saying,
16 ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ବଂଶଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଗ୍ଭରକ୍ସ୍ଟଅଛି, କାହିଁକି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଏପରି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲ? ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କାହିଁକି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧାଚରଣ କଲ? କାହିଁକି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲ? ଏହା କଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନୀତି ବାହା ରେ ନକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହେଁ! ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଠିକ୍ ରୂପେ ଜାଣ।
Thus saith the whole congregation of the Lord, What trespass is this that ye have committed against the God of Israel, to turn away this day from following the Lord, in that ye have builded you an altar, that ye might rebel this day against the Lord?
17 ପିୟୋର କ'ଣ ଘଟିଲା ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତାହା ମନେଅଛି? ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସହେି ମହାପାପପାଇଁ ଏପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ କଷ୍ଟ ଭୋଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଅଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାସିନ୍ଦାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମହାମାରୀ ରକ୍ସ୍ଟଗ୍ଣ କଲେ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସହେି ମହାମାରୀ ଏପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଭୋଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଅଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ।
Is the iniquity of Peor too little for us, from which we are not cleansed until this day, although there was a plague in the congregation of the Lord,
18 ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଠିକ୍ ସହେି ପାପ କରୁଛ! ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧାଚରଣ କଲ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ବିଦ୍ରୋହ କଲ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏପରି ବ୍ଯବହାର କାହିଁକି ଦଖାେଉଛ? ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମଗ୍ର ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କ ଉପରେ କ୍ରୋଧିତ ହବେେ।
But that ye must turn away this day from following the Lord? and it will be, seeing ye rebel to day against the Lord, that to morrow he will be wroth with the whole congregation of Israel.
19 ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଧିକାର ଦେଶ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଉପାସନା କରିବାକୁ ଅନିଛକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଏ, ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଳାଇ ଆସ। ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆବାସ ବାସ କରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସହେି ଅଧିକାର ଦେଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆ ସେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧାଚରଣ କର ନାହିଁ। କଦାପି ଅନ୍ୟ ଏକ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରନାହିଁ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଯେଉଁ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଅଛି ତା ଛଡା ଅନ୍ୟ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ ନ କର।
Notwithstanding, if the land of your possession be unclean, then pass ye over unto the land of the possession of the Lord, wherein the Lord’s tabernacle dwelleth, and take possession among us: but rebel not against the Lord, nor rebel against us, in building you an altar beside the altar of the Lord our God.
20 ମନରେଖ ସରହରେ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଆଖନ, ବର୍ଜିତ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ବିଷଯ ରେ ସତ୍ଯ ଲଂଘନ କରନ୍ତେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ମଣ୍ତଳିକି କୋରଧ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପଡିଲା, କବଳେ ସହେି ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ନିଯମ ଭଙ୍ଗ କଲା କିନ୍ତୁ ସମସ୍ତ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲଗଣ ତା'ର ଦଣ୍ତ ଭୋଗିଲେ। ଆଖନ କବଳେ ତା'ର ପାପ ପାଇଁ ମଲା। ଏବଂ ତା'ର ପାପ ପାଇଁ ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ଲୋକ ମଧ୍ଯ ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯବରଣ କଲେ।
Did not Achan the son of Zerah commit a trespass in the accursed thing, and wrath fell on all the congregation of Israel? and that man perished not alone in his iniquity.
21 ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ ଓ ମନଃଶିର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗଗଣ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ମୂଖ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଇେ କହିଲେ,
Then the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh answered, and said unto the heads of the thousands of Israel,
22 ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ବର! ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଆମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ବର। ଏବଂ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଜାଣନ୍ତି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏପରି କାହିଁକି କଲକ୍ସ୍ଟ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜଣାଇ ଦବୋକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗ୍ଭହକ୍ସ୍ଟଁ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ କ'ଣ କରିଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବିଗ୍ଭର କର। ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହା ବିଶ୍ବାସ କର କି ବିଗ୍ଭର କର ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ କିଛି ଭୂଲ କରିଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ, ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହତ୍ଯା କରିପାର।
The Lord God of gods, the Lord God of gods, he knoweth, and Israel he shall know; if it be in rebellion, or if in transgression against the Lord, (save us not this day,)
23 ଯଦି ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ନିଯମ ଭଙ୍ଗ କରିଥାଉ, ତବେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସ୍ବହସ୍ତ ରେ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦିଅନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ।
That we have built us an altar to turn from following the Lord, or if to offer thereon burnt offering or meat offering, or if to offer peace offerings thereon, let the Lord himself require it;
24 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କ'ଣ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରୁଛ ଯେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏହି ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ହୋମ କି ଭକ୍ଷ୍ଯ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ କି ମଙ୍ଗଳାର୍ଥକ ବଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବା ପାଇଁ କ'ଣ ତିଆରି କରିଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ? ନାଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଏହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତିଆରି କରିନାହକ୍ସ୍ଟଁ। ତବେେ କିହିଁକି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲ? ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଚିନ୍ତାଶୀଳ ହାଇେ ଓ ବିଗ୍ଭର କରି ଏହା କରିଅଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ। ଆସନ୍ତା ସମୟରେ କଜାେଣି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ କି ସଐର୍କ।
And if we have not rather done it for fear of this thing, saying, In time to come your children might speak unto our children, saying, What have ye to do with the Lord God of Israel?
25 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ସପୋରି ରେ ଆମ୍ଭକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଭୂମି ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି। ଏହା ଅର୍ଥ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ନଦୀ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଲଗା କରିଅଛି। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆଶଙ୍କା କରୁଅଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପିଲା ବଡ ହାଇେ ଦେଶ ଶାସନ କରିବେ ସମାନେେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ ଯେ କି ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଲୋକ ବୋଲି। ସମାନେେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ବଡ ହାଇେ ଶାସନ କରିବେ, ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏପରି କହି ବି ପାରନ୍ତି, 'ତୁମ୍ଭେ, ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ , ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଅଂଶ ନକ୍ସ୍ଟହଁ।' ଏହାପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପିଲାଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସଠାେରେ ଉପାସନା କରିବାକୁ ମନା କରିପାରନ୍ତି।
For the Lord hath made Jordan a border between us and you, ye children of Reuben and children of Gad; ye have no part in the Lord: so shall your children make our children cease from fearing the Lord.
26 ତେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନଲେକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଏକ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବାକୁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମେ ଏହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହାମବେଳି ପାଇଁ ତିଆରି କରିନାହକ୍ସ୍ଟଁ।
Therefore we said, Let us now prepare to build us an altar, not for burnt offering, nor for sacrifice:
27 ଏହାର ବାସ୍ତବ କାରଣ ହେଲା, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ ବଂଶଧରଗଣଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ତିଆରି କରିଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ଏହା ଦେଖିଲାପରେ ଜାଣି ପାରିବେ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେଉଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉପାସନା କରୁଅଛ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସହେି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଉପାସନା କରୁଅଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ। ଏହି ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରମାଣ ରହିବ ଯେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଉପାସନା କରୁ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶସ୍ଯ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ, ସହଭାଗିତାର ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବକ୍ସ୍ଟ। ତେଣୁ ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପିଲାମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବେ ନାହିଁ ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସହିତ କିଛି କରିବାର ନାହିଁ।
But that it may be a witness between us, and you, and our generations after us, that we might do the service of the Lord before him with our burnt offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings; that your children may not say to our children in time to come, Ye have no part in the Lord.
28 ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଏହିପରି କହି ପାରନ୍ତି। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ନକ୍ସ୍ଟହଁ। ଆମ୍ଭର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଏତ୍ କହିପାରିନ୍ତି, ' ଦେଖ! ଆମ୍ଭର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସହେି ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଠିକ୍ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ପବିତ୍ର ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ବୁ ସମ୍ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଖସ୍ଥିତ ତାଙ୍କ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ପରି। ଏହି ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ହୋମ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ ପାଇଁ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରାୟାଏ ନାହିଁ। ଏହା କବଳେ ପ୍ରମାଣ ମାତ୍ର, ଯେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଏକ ଅଂଶ।'
Therefore said we, that it shall be, when they should so say to us or to our generations in time to come, that we may say again, Behold the pattern of the altar of the Lord, which our fathers made, not for burnt offerings, nor for sacrifices; but it is a witness between us and you.
29 ବାସ୍ତବ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ କବେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବି ରୋଧ ରେ ୟାଇ ନାହକ୍ସ୍ଟଁ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ଯାନକ୍ସ୍ଟସା ରେ ଚଳକ୍ସ୍ଟଅଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହା ଜାଣକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯେ, ଗୋଟିଏ ମାତ୍ର ପବିତ୍ର ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଅଛି ଯାହାକି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଆବାସ ସମ୍ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଖସ୍ଥିତ। ସହେି ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର।
God forbid that we should rebel against the Lord, and turn this day from following the Lord, to build an altar for burnt offerings, for meat offerings, or for sacrifices, beside the altar of the Lord our God that is before his tabernacle.
30 ପୀନହାସ ଯାଜକ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ୟାଇଥିବା ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଖିଆ, ଏହିପରି ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ ଓ ମନଃଶିର ବଂଶର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଶୁଣିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ବକ୍ସ୍ଟଝିଲେ ଯେ ବାସ୍ତବ ରେ ସତକଥା ଏବଂ ଠିକ୍କଥା କହକ୍ସ୍ଟଛନ୍ତି।
And when Phinehas the priest, and the princes of the congregation and heads of the thousands of Israel which were with him, heard the words that the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the children of Manasseh spake, it pleased them.
31 ତେଣୁ ଯାଜକ ପୀନହାସ କହିଲେ, ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଆମେ ଜାଣିଲକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ଏବଂ ଆମେ ଜାଣିଲକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧାଚରଣ କରିନାହିଁ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଖକ୍ସ୍ଟସ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲବାସୀଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ କୌଣସି ଦଣ୍ତ ଦଇେ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି।
And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the children of Manasseh, This day we perceive that the Lord is among us, because ye have not committed this trespass against the Lord: now ye have delivered the children of Israel out of the hand of the Lord.
32 ଏହାପରେ ପୀନହସ୍ ଏବଂ ସମସ୍ତ ମୂଖିଆମାନେ ସେ ସ୍ଥାନ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରି ଗୃହକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ ବଂଶର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସହେି ଗିଲିଯଦ ରେ ଛାଡି କିଣାନ ଦେଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେି ଆସିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେିଆସି ଯାହାସବୁ ଘଟିଥିଲା ତାହା ଜଣାଇଲେ।
And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, and the princes, returned from the children of Reuben, and from the children of Gad, out of the land of Gilead, unto the land of Canaan, to the children of Israel, and brought them word again.
33 ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ ଏକଥା ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ସନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟଷ୍ଟ ହେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ଖକ୍ସ୍ଟସି ହେଲେ ଏବଂ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଧନ୍ଯବାଦ ଜଣାଇଲେ। ସମାନେେ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟନର୍ବାର ନିଷ୍ପତି ନେଲେ, ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ ଓ ମନଃଶିର ବଂଶ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ। ଏବଂ ସେ ସ୍ଥାନଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଯେଉଁଠା ରେ ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ, ଗାଦ ଓ ମନଃଶିର ବଂଶର ଲୋକମାନେ ବାସ କରୁଛନ୍ତି।
And the thing pleased the children of Israel; and the children of Israel blessed God, and did not intend to go up against them in battle, to destroy the land wherein the children of Reuben and Gad dwelt.
34 ରକ୍ସ୍ଟବନ୍େ ବଂଶଧର ଓ ଗାଦ ବଂଶଧର ସହେି ବଦେୀର ନାମ ଦେଲେ, ସାକ୍ଷୀ ଏହାର ଅର୍ଥ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅଟନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ ରେ ଏହାର ଏହି ହେଉଛି ସାକ୍ଷୀ।
And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad called the altar Ed: for it shall be a witness between us that the Lord is God.
