Exodus 18:21
మరియు నీవు ప్రజలందరిలో సామర్థ్యము దైవభక్తి సత్యాసక్తి కలిగి, లంచగొండులుకాని మనుష్యులను ఏర్పరచుకొని, వేయిమందికి ఒకనిగాను, నూరుమందికి ఒకనిగాను, ఏబదిమందికి ఒకనిగాను, పది మందికి ఒకనిగాను, వారిమీద న్యాయాధిపతులను నియ మింపవలెను.

| such as fear | יִרְאֵ֧י | yirʾê | yeer-A |
| God, | אֱלֹהִ֛ים | ʾĕlōhîm | ay-loh-HEEM |
| men | אַנְשֵׁ֥י | ʾanšê | an-SHAY |
| truth, of | אֱמֶ֖ת | ʾĕmet | ay-MET |
| hating | שֹׂ֣נְאֵי | śōnĕʾê | SOH-neh-ay |
| covetousness; | בָ֑צַע | bāṣaʿ | VA-tsa |
| place and | וְשַׂמְתָּ֣ | wĕśamtā | veh-sahm-TA |
| such over | עֲלֵהֶ֗ם | ʿălēhem | uh-lay-HEM |
| rulers be to them, | שָׂרֵ֤י | śārê | sa-RAY |
| of thousands, | אֲלָפִים֙ | ʾălāpîm | uh-la-FEEM |
| rulers and | שָׂרֵ֣י | śārê | sa-RAY |
| of hundreds, | מֵא֔וֹת | mēʾôt | may-OTE |
| rulers | שָׂרֵ֥י | śārê | sa-RAY |
| fifties, of | חֲמִשִּׁ֖ים | ḥămiššîm | huh-mee-SHEEM |
| and rulers | וְשָׂרֵ֥י | wĕśārê | veh-sa-RAY |
