ఎస్తేరు యొక్క పనికత్తెలును ఆమెదగ్గరనున్న షండులును వచ్చి జరిగినదాని ఆమెకు తెలియజేయగా రాణి గొప్ప మనోవిచారము కలదైమొర్దెకై కట్టుకొనియున్న గోనెపట్టను తీసివేయుమని ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చి, కట్టించుకొనుటకై అతనియొద్దకు వస్త్రములు పంపెను గాని అతడు వాటిని తీసికొనలేదు.
