Deuteronomy 6:2
నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు భయపడి, నేను నీకాజ్ఞాపించు ఆయన కట్టడలన్నియు ఆజ్ఞలన్నియు నీ జీవిత దినములన్ని టను గైకొనుచు నీవు దీర్ఘాయుష్మంతుడవగునట్లు మీరు స్వాధీనపరచుకొనుటకు ఏరు దాటి వెళ్లుచున్న దేశమందు మీరు జరుపుకొనుటకు మీకు బోధింపవలెనని మీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞాపించిన ధర్మమంతయు అనగా కట్ట డలు విధులు ఇవే.

| which | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| I | אָֽנֹכִ֣י | ʾānōkî | ah-noh-HEE |
| command | מְצַוֶּךָ֒ | mĕṣawwekā | meh-tsa-weh-HA |
| thou, thee, | אַתָּה֙ | ʾattāh | ah-TA |
| and thy son, | וּבִנְךָ֣ | ûbinkā | oo-veen-HA |
| son's thy and | וּבֶן | ûben | oo-VEN |
| son, | בִּנְךָ֔ | binkā | been-HA |
| all | כֹּ֖ל | kōl | kole |
| days the | יְמֵ֣י | yĕmê | yeh-MAY |
| of thy life; | חַיֶּ֑יךָ | ḥayyêkā | ha-YAY-ha |
| that and | וּלְמַ֖עַן | ûlĕmaʿan | oo-leh-MA-an |
| thy days | יַֽאֲרִכֻ֥ן | yaʾărikun | ya-uh-ree-HOON |
