Deuteronomy 31:3
నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా నీకు ముందుగా దాటిపోయి ఆ జనములను నీ యెదుట నుండకుండ నశింపజేయును, నీవు వారి దేశ మును స్వాధీనపరచుకొందువు. యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చి యున్నట్లు యెహోషువ నీ ముందుగా దాటిపోవును.

| nations | הָאֵ֛לֶּה | hāʾēlle | ha-A-leh |
| from before | מִלְּפָנֶ֖יךָ | millĕpānêkā | mee-leh-fa-NAY-ha |
| possess shalt thou and thee, | וִֽירִשְׁתָּ֑ם | wîrištām | vee-reesh-TAHM |
| them: and Joshua, | יְהוֹשֻׁ֗עַ | yĕhôšuaʿ | yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah |

| over go shall | עֹבֵ֣ר | ʿōbēr | oh-VARE |
