Deuteronomy 20:17
వీరు, అనగా హీత్తీ యులు అమోరీయులు కనానీయులు పెరిజ్జీయులు హివీ్వ యులు యెబూసీయులనువారు తమ తమ దేవతల విష యమై చేసిన సమస్త హేయకృత్యములరీతిగా మీరు చేసి,

| the Canaanites, | הַכְּנַֽעֲנִ֣י | hakkĕnaʿănî | ha-keh-na-uh-NEE |
| Perizzites, the and | וְהַפְּרִזִּ֔י | wĕhappĕrizzî | veh-ha-peh-ree-ZEE |
| the Hivites, | הַֽחִוִּ֖י | haḥiwwî | ha-hee-WEE |
| and the Jebusites; | וְהַיְבוּסִ֑י | wĕhaybûsî | veh-hai-voo-SEE |
| as | כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר | kaʾăšer | ka-uh-SHER |
| Lord the | צִוְּךָ֖ | ṣiwwĕkā | tsee-weh-HA |
| thy God | יְהוָ֥ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| hath commanded | אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ | ʾĕlōhêkā | ay-loh-HAY-ha |
