పట్టణము బహు గలిబిలిగా ఉండెను. మరియు వారు పౌలుతో ప్రయాణమై వచ్చిన మాసిదోనియ వారైన గాయియును అరిస్తర్కును పట్టుకొని దొమి్మగా నాటకశాలలో చొరబడిరి.
2 Timothy 3 in Tamil and English
1 ଏହା ମନରେଖ ଯେ ଶଷେ ଦିନଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ଅନକେ କଷ୍ଟକର ପରିସ୍ଥିତି ଆସିବ।
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 ସହେି ସମୟରେ ଲୋକେ କବଳେ ନିଜ ନିଜକୁ ଓ ଧନକୁ ଭଲ ପାଇବେ। ସମାନେେ ଅହଂକାରୀ ଓ ଉଦ୍ଧତ ହବେେ। ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ନିନ୍ଦାକଥା କହିବେ। ମାତାପିତାଙ୍କୁ ମାନିବେ ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ ବିଶ୍ବାସଘାତକ ହବେେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଇଚ୍ଛାନୁଯାଯୀ ଜୀବନଯାପନ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ଲାଗି ପ୍ ରମେଭାବ ରଖିବେ ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଷମା ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ମନା କରିବେ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ରେ ଖରାପ କଥା କହିବେ। ଆତ୍ମସଂୟମୀ ହବେେ ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ କୋରଧୀ ଓ ହୀନମନା ହବେେ ଓ ଉତ୍ତମ ବିଷୟଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଘୃଣା କରିବେ।
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 ଶଷେ ଦିନ ରେ ଲୋକେ ନିଜ ସାଙ୍ଗମାନଙ୍କ ବି ରୋଧ ରେ ଯିବେ। ବିଚାର ନ କରି ମୂର୍ଖତାପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯମାନ କରିବେ। ଆତ୍ମବଡ଼ିମା କରିବେ ଓ ଗର୍ବୀ ହବେେ। ଲୋକେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଯେତେ ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି, ତା'ଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ଆମାଦେ ପ୍ରମାଦେକୁ ଭଲ ପାଇବେ।
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 ସମାନେେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସବେକ ହବୋର ଛଳନା କରିବେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ତାଙ୍କ ଜୀବନପଦ୍ଧତି ଦ୍ବାରା ଜଣାପଡ଼ିବ ଯେ ସମାନେେ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସବୋ କରୁନାହାଁନ୍ତି। ତୀମଥି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଦୂର ରେ ରୁହ।
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 ଏମାନଙ୍କ ଭିତରୁ କେତଜେଣ ଘରକୁ ଘର ଯାଇ ଦୁର୍ବଳମନା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଶୀଭୂତ କରିବେ। ସହେି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ପାପରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ। ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରକାର ମନ୍ଦ ଇଚ୍ଛା ଦ୍ବାରା ପରିଚାଳିତ ହେଉଥିବା ୟୋଗୁ ଏହି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ପାପରେ ପଡ଼ନ୍ତି।
For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 ସହେି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ ନୂତନ ଶିକ୍ଷାଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଶିଖିବାକୁ ସର୍ବଦା ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ସମାନେେ କବେେ ହେଲେ ସତ୍ଯକୁ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବରେ ବୁଝି ପାରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ୟନ୍ନୀସ୍ ଓ ୟମ୍ବୀସ୍ କଥା ମନେପକାଅ।
Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 ସମାନେେ ମାଶାଙ୍କେୁ ବି ରୋଧ କରିଥିଲେ। ସହେିଭଳି ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସତ୍ଯର ବିରୋଧ କରନ୍ତି, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ମନ ବିପଥଗାମୀ। ଈଶ୍ବର ବିଶ୍ବାସର ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବା ରେ ଏମାନେ ବିଫଳ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି।
Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 କିନ୍ତୁ ନିଜ କର୍ମ ରେ ସମାନେେ ସଫଳକାମ ହବେେ ନାହିଁ। ସମସ୍ତେ ଦେଖିବେ ଯେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ମୂର୍ଖତା ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହାଇେଛି। ୟନ୍ନୀସ୍ ଓ ୟମ୍ବୀସ୍ ସହିତ ମଧ୍ଯ ଏହା ଘଟିଥିଲା।
But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
10 କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ମାେତେ ଜାଣିଛ। ଏହା ମଧ୍ଯ ଜାଣିଛ ଯେ ମୁଁ କ'ଣ ଶିକ୍ଷା (ଉପଦେଶ) ଦିଏ ଓ କିପରି ରୁ ହେ। ମାେ ଜୀବନର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ବିଷୟ ରେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣିଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ, ର୍ଧୈୟ୍ଯ, ପ୍ ରମେ ବିଷୟ ରେ ଜାଣିଛ ଓ ଏହା ମଧ୍ଯ ଜାଣିଛ ଯେ ମୁଁ କବେେ ହେଲେ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିବାରୁ ବିରତ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ।
But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ନିର୍ୟ୍ଯାତନାଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଓ ମାରଦେୁଃଖଗୁଡ଼ିକ ବିଷୟ ରେ ଜାଣିଛ। ଆନ୍ତିୟଖିଆ, ଇକନିୟ ଓ ଲୁସ୍ତ୍ରା ରେ ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ଯାହା ସବୁ ଘଟିଲା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ଜାଣିଛ। ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ମୁଁ କିପରି ନିର୍ୟ୍ଯାତନା ଭୋଗ କଲି, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣିଛ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସହେିସବୁ କଷ୍ଟରୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ରକ୍ଷା କଲେ।
Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12 ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଇଚ୍ଛାନୁଯାଯୀ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କଠା ରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସପୂର୍ବକ ଜୀବନ ଅତିବାହିତ କରିବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁଥିବା ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଲୋକ ନିର୍ୟ୍ଯାତିତ ହବେେ। ମନ୍ଦ ଲୋକେ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଠକୁଥିବା ଲୋକେ ମନ୍ଦରୁ ମନ୍ଦ ହାଇଯେିବେ।
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 ସମାନେେ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରାଇବେ ଓ ନିଜେ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହବେେ।
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
14 କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ଉପଦେଶ ଶିଖିଛ, ସଗେୁଡ଼ିକୁ ପାଳନ କରି ଚାଲ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣ ଯେ ସହେି ଶିକ୍ଷାଗୁଡ଼ିକ ସତ୍ଯ। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସହେି ଶିକ୍ଷାଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପ୍ରଦାନ କଲେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରିପାରିବ।
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 ପିଲାବଳେୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପବିତ୍ର ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଜାଣିଛ। ସହେି ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରଗୁଡ଼ିକ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ କରିପାରିବ ଓ ସହେି ଜ୍ଞାନ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ବିଶ୍ବାସ ମାଧ୍ଯମ ରେ ମୁକ୍ତି ଆଡ଼କୁ ଆଗଇନବେେ।
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 ସବୁ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ଏବଂ ତୃଟି ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବା ପାଇଁ, ଭୁଲ୍ ସଂଶୋଧନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ, ଠିକ୍ ଭାବରେ ଜୀବନ ଧାରଣ କରିବାକୁ ଶିଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଏହା ଉପ ଯୋଗୀ ଅଟେ।
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସବେକ, ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରଗୁଡ଼ିକର ବ୍ଯବହାର ଦ୍ବାରା ସମସ୍ତ ଉତ୍ତମ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସକ୍ଷମ ହବେ ଓ ତା'ର ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଆବଶ୍ଯକ ବିଷୟ ପାଇବ।
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 ସମାନେେ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରାଇବେ ଓ ନିଜେ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହବେେ।

15 ପିଲାବଳେୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପବିତ୍ର ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଜାଣିଛ। ସହେି ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରଗୁଡ଼ିକ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ କରିପାରିବ ଓ ସହେି ଜ୍ଞାନ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ବିଶ୍ବାସ ମାଧ୍ଯମ ରେ ମୁକ୍ତି ଆଡ଼କୁ ଆଗଇନବେେ।
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 ସବୁ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ଏବଂ ତୃଟି ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବା ପାଇଁ, ଭୁଲ୍ ସଂଶୋଧନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ, ଠିକ୍ ଭାବରେ ଜୀବନ ଧାରଣ କରିବାକୁ ଶିଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଏହା ଉପ ଯୋଗୀ ଅଟେ।
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସବେକ, ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରଗୁଡ଼ିକର ବ୍ଯବହାର ଦ୍ବାରା ସମସ୍ତ ଉତ୍ତମ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସକ୍ଷମ ହବେ ଓ ତା'ର ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଆବଶ୍ଯକ ବିଷୟ ପାଇବ।
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
