Numbers 8:21
లేవీయులు తమ్మును పవిత్రపరచుకొని తమ బట్టలు ఉదుకుకొనిన తరు వాత అహరోను యెహోవా సన్నిధిని ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణముగా వారిని అర్పించెను. వారిని పవిత్రపరచుటకు అహరోను వారినిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేసెను.

అతడు మూడవ దినమున ఆ జల ముతో పాపశుద్ధి చేసికొని యేడవ దినమున పవిత్రుడగును. అయితే వాడు మూడవ దినమున పాపశుద్ధి చేసికొనని యడల ఏడవ దినమున పవిత్రుడుకాడు.

మూడవ దినమున ఏడవ దినమున పవి త్రుడు అపవిత్రునిమీద దానిని ప్రోక్షింపవలెను. ఏడవ దినమున వాడు పాపశుద్ధి చేసికొని తన బట్టలు ఉదుకుకొని నీళ్లతో స్నానము చేసి సాయంకాలమున పవిత్రుడగును.
