అయినను ఈ జనము అపహరింపబడి దోపుడు సొమ్మాయెను. ఎవరును తప్పించుకొనకుండ వారందరు గుహలలో చిక్కుపడియున్నారు వారు బందీగృహములలో దాచబడియున్నారు దోపుడుపాలైరి విడిపించువాడెవడును లేడు అపహరింపబడిరి తిరిగి రప్పించుమని చెప్పువాడెవడును లేడు.

అధిపతులు యిర్మీయామీద కోపపడి అతని కొట్టి, తాము బందీగృహ ముగా చేసియున్న లేఖికుడైన యోనాతాను ఇంటిలో అతని వేయించిరి.
