2 Samuel 24:16
అయితే దూత యెరూషలేము పైని హస్తము చాపి నాశనము చేయబోయినప్పుడు, యెహోవా ఆ కీడునుగూర్చి సంతాపమొంది అంతే చాలును, నీ చెయ్యి తీయుమని జనులను నాశనముచేయు దూతకు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను.యెహోవా దూత యెబూసీయుడైన అరౌనాయొక్క కళ్లము దగ్గర ఉండగా

| to destroy | לְשַֽׁחֲתָהּ֒ | lĕšaḥătāh | leh-sha-huh-TA |
| Lord the it, | וַיִּנָּ֤חֶם | wayyinnāḥem | va-yee-NA-hem |
| repented him | יְהוָה֙ | yĕhwāh | yeh-VA |
| of | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| the evil, | הָ֣רָעָ֔ה | hārāʿâ | HA-ra-AH |
| said and | וַ֠יֹּאמֶר | wayyōʾmer | VA-yoh-mer |
| to the angel | לַמַּלְאָ֞ךְ | lammalʾāk | la-mahl-AK |
| destroyed that | הַמַּשְׁחִ֤ית | hammašḥît | ha-mahsh-HEET |
| the people, | בָּעָם֙ | bāʿām | ba-AM |
| enough: is It | רַ֔ב | rab | rahv |
| stay | עַתָּ֖ה | ʿattâ | ah-TA |
| now | הֶ֣רֶף | herep | HEH-ref |
| thine hand. | יָדֶ֑ךָ | yādekā | ya-DEH-ha |
