షోమ్రోనులో అహాబునకు డెబ్బదిమంది కుమారు లుండిరి. యెహూ వెంటనే తాకీదులు వ్రాయించి షోమ్రోనులోనుండు యెజ్రెయేలు అధిపతులకును పెద్దల కును అహాబు పిల్లలను పెంచినవారికిని పంపి ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చిన దేమనగామీ యజమానుని కుమారులు మీయొద్ద నున్నారు;
