1 Samuel 9:4
అతడు పోయి ఎఫ్రాయిము మన్యము తిరిగి షాలిషాదేశమున సంచరింపగా అవి కన బడలేదు. తరువాత వారు షయలీము దేశమును దాటి సంచారము చేసిరి గాని అవి కనబడకయుండెను. బెన్యామీనీయుల దేశము సంచరించి చూడగా అవి దొరకలేదు.

| not: them | מָצָ֑אוּ | māṣāʾû | ma-TSA-oo |
| then they passed through | וַיַּֽעַבְר֤וּ | wayyaʿabrû | va-ya-av-ROO |
| land the | בְאֶרֶץ | bĕʾereṣ | veh-eh-RETS |
| of Shalim, | שַֽׁעֲלִים֙ | šaʿălîm | sha-uh-LEEM |
| not: were they there and | וָאַ֔יִן | wāʾayin | va-AH-yeen |
| through passed he and | וַיַּֽעֲבֹ֥ר | wayyaʿăbōr | va-ya-uh-VORE |
