1 Samuel 30:16
తరువాత వాడు వారి దగ్గరకు దావీదును నడిపింపగా, ఫిలిష్తీయుల దేశము లోనుండియు యూదా దేశములోనుండియు తాముదోచి తెచ్చికొనిన సొమ్ముతో తులదూగుచు, వారు ఆ ప్రదేశమంతట చెదిరి అన్నపానములు పుచ్చుకొనుచు ఆటపాటలు సలుపుచుండిరి.

| and drinking, | וְשֹׁתִים֙ | wĕšōtîm | veh-shoh-TEEM |
| and dancing, | וְחֹ֣גְגִ֔ים | wĕḥōgĕgîm | veh-HOH-ɡeh-ɡEEM |
| all of because | בְּכֹל֙ | bĕkōl | beh-HOLE |
| the great | הַשָּׁלָ֣ל | haššālāl | ha-sha-LAHL |
| spoil | הַגָּד֔וֹל | haggādôl | ha-ɡa-DOLE |
| that | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| taken had they | לָֽקְח֛וּ | lāqĕḥû | la-keh-HOO |
| land the of out | מֵאֶ֥רֶץ | mēʾereṣ | may-EH-rets |
