కర్మెలులోని మాయోనునందు ఆస్తిగలవాడొకడు కాపురముండెను. అతడు బహు భాగ్యవంతుడు, అతనికి మూడువేల గొఱ్ఱలును వెయ్యి మేకలును ఉండెను. అతడుకర్మెలులో తన గొఱ్ఱల బొచ్చు కత్తిరించుటకై పోయి యుండెను.
