1 Samuel 17:10
ఈ దినమున నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సైన్యములను తిరస్కరించుచున్నాను. ఒకని నియమించిన యెడల వాడును నేనును పోట్లాడుదుమని ఆ ఫిలిష్తీయుడు చెప్పుచువచ్చెను.

| day; | הַזֶּ֑ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |
| give | תְּנוּ | tĕnû | teh-NOO |
| me a man, | לִ֣י | lî | lee |
| fight may we that | אִ֔ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |
| together. | וְנִֽלָּחֲמָ֖ה | wĕnillāḥămâ | veh-nee-la-huh-MA |
