1 Samuel 11:11
మరునాడు సౌలు జనులను మూడు సమూహములుగా చేసిన తరువాత వారు తెల్లవారు సమయమున దండుమధ్యను జొచ్చి మధ్యాహ్నములోగా అమ్మోనీయులను హతముచేయగా వారిలో మిగిలినవారు ఇద్దరేసికూడి పోజాలకుండ చెదరిపోయిరి.

| companies; | רָאשִׁים֒ | rāʾšîm | ra-SHEEM |
| and they came | וַיָּבֹ֤אוּ | wayyābōʾû | va-ya-VOH-oo |
| into the midst | בְתוֹךְ | bĕtôk | veh-TOKE |
| host the of | הַֽמַּחֲנֶה֙ | hammaḥăneh | ha-ma-huh-NEH |
| in the morning | בְּאַשְׁמֹ֣רֶת | bĕʾašmōret | beh-ash-MOH-ret |
| watch, | הַבֹּ֔קֶר | habbōqer | ha-BOH-ker |
| slew and | וַיַּכּ֥וּ | wayyakkû | va-YA-koo |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the Ammonites | עַמּ֖וֹן | ʿammôn | AH-mone |
| until | עַד | ʿad | ad |
| the heat | חֹ֣ם | ḥōm | home |
| day: the of | הַיּ֑וֹם | hayyôm | HA-yome |
| and it came to pass, | וַיְהִ֤י | wayhî | vai-HEE |
| remained which they that | הַנִּשְׁאָרִים֙ | hannišʾārîm | ha-neesh-ah-REEM |
| were scattered, | וַיָּפֻ֔צוּ | wayyāpuṣû | va-ya-FOO-tsoo |
| two that so | וְלֹ֥א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| of them were not | נִשְׁאֲרוּ | nišʾărû | neesh-uh-ROO |
| left | בָ֖ם | bām | vahm |
| together. | שְׁנַ֥יִם | šĕnayim | sheh-NA-yeem |
| יָֽחַד׃ | yāḥad | YA-hahd |
