1 Kings 8:43
ఆకాశమను నీ నివాసస్థలమందు నీవు విని, పరదేశులు నిన్ను వేడుకొనుదాని ప్రకారము సమస్తము ననుగ్రహించుము, అప్పుడు లోకములోని జనులందరును నీ నామమును ఎరిగి, ఇశ్రా యేలీయులగు నీ జనులవలెనే నీయందు భయభక్తులు కలిగి, నేను కట్టించిన యీ మందిరమునకు నీ పేరు పెట్టబడినదని తెలిసికొందురు.

| that | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| stranger the | יִקְרָ֥א | yiqrāʾ | yeek-RA |
| calleth | אֵלֶ֖יךָ | ʾēlêkā | ay-LAY-ha |
| to | הַנָּכְרִ֑י | hannokrî | ha-noke-REE |
| thee for: that | לְמַ֣עַן | lĕmaʿan | leh-MA-an |
| all | יֵֽדְעוּן֩ | yēdĕʿûn | yay-deh-OON |
| people | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| of the earth | עַמֵּ֨י | ʿammê | ah-MAY |
| may know | הָאָ֜רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |

| to fear | לְיִרְאָ֤ה | lĕyirʾâ | leh-yeer-AH |
| people thy do as thee, | אֹֽתְךָ֙ | ʾōtĕkā | oh-teh-HA |
| Israel; | כְּעַמְּךָ֣ | kĕʿammĕkā | keh-ah-meh-HA |
| know may they that and | יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| that | וְלָדַ֕עַת | wĕlādaʿat | veh-la-DA-at |

| house, | שִׁמְךָ֣ | šimkā | sheem-HA |
