దావీదు నిమిత్తము అతని తరువాత అతని కుమారుని నిలుపుటకును, యెరూష లేమును స్థిరపరచుటకును, అతని దేవుడైన యెహోవా యెరూషలేమునందు దావీదునకు దీపముగా అతని ఉండ నిచ్చెను.
