1 Kings 10:7
అయి నను నేను వచ్చి కన్నులార చూడకమునుపు ఆ మాటలను నమ్మకయుంటిని; ఉన్నదానిలో సగమైనను నాతో చెప్ప బడలేదని యిప్పుడు నేను తెలిసి కొనుచున్నాను. నీ జ్ఞానమును నీ భాగ్యమును నేను వినినదానిని బహుగా మించి యున్నవి;

| had seen | עֵינַ֔י | ʿênay | ay-NAI |
| behold, and, it: | וְהִנֵּ֥ה | wĕhinnē | veh-hee-NAY |
| the half | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| was not | הֻגַּד | huggad | hoo-ɡAHD |
| told | לִ֖י | lî | lee |
| me: thy wisdom | הַחֵ֑צִי | haḥēṣî | ha-HAY-tsee |
| prosperity and | הוֹסַ֤פְתָּ | hôsaptā | hoh-SAHF-ta |
| exceedeth | חָכְמָה֙ | ḥokmāh | hoke-MA |
| וָט֔וֹב | wāṭôb | va-TOVE | |
| the fame | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| which | הַשְּׁמוּעָ֖ה | haššĕmûʿâ | ha-sheh-moo-AH |
| I heard. | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| שָׁמָֽעְתִּי׃ | šāmāʿĕttî | sha-MA-eh-tee |
