Zechariah 8:6
ਜੇਕਰ ਇਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਚੋ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਅਸਰਜ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਅਸਰਜ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ, ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਰਬ-ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।”

ਤਦ ਉਹ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਬੜਾ ਕਰੀਬ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ) ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਜੇਕਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਕੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਲਗਾ ਦੇਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਸੰਭਵ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦੀ।” ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਵੇਖਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਖਾ ਨਾ ਸੱਕੇਂਗਾ।”

ਜੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿਬਾਹ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਵੇ। ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਇੰਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਭਰ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਈਏ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ!”
