ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਤੂੰ ਕਿੱਥੋ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ?” ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਪਣ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਚੌੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਕੁ ਲੰਬਾ ਹੈ?”

Ezekiel 45:6

Ezekiel 40:3
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਓੱਥੇ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ। ਓੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਲਿਸ਼ਕਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਕਾਂਸੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਚਮਕੀਲਾ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਕੋਲ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਫ਼ੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੈਮਾਨਾ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਖਲੋਤਾ ਸੀ।
Ezekiel 48:15

ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ “ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਇਹ ਹਨ। ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। “ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਪਾਸਾ 4,500 ਹੱਥ ਲੰਮਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
Zechariah 5:10
ਫ਼ਿਰ ਮੈਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਉਹ ਇਹ ਨਾਪਣ ਦੀ ਬਾਲਟੀ ਕਿੱਥੋ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ?”

ਦੋ ਗਵਾਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਪਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਲਾਖ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਖੂੰਡੀ ਵਰਗੀ ਸੀ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ, “ਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਜੱਗਵੇਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਪ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵੀ ਕਰੀਂ।
