ਲੇਵੀ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਮਈ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋਣ-ਪਿੱਟਣਗੇ।

ਸ਼ਿਮਈ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਾਪਦਾ ਦਾਊਦ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਤਦ ਬਹੁਰੀਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ। ਉੱਥੇ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਗੇਰਾ ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਿਮਈ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ। ਉਹ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਦੇ ਬੋਲ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇੰਝ ਬਾਰ-ਬਾਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਗਿਆ।

ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦਾ ਜਾਜਕ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਇਹ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨਾਲ ਸੀਨਈ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
Malachi 2:4
ਤਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣੋਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਲੇਵੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰਾ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਰਹੇ, ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ।” ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਉਂ ਫ਼ੁਰਮਾਇਆ।
