ਫ਼ਿਰ ਯਹੂਦਾ ਉੱਥੇ ਸੈਨਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਜਿੱਥੇਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਇਆ, ਇਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਧਾਨ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਪਿਆਦੇ ਵੀ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੀਵੇ, ਮਸ਼ਾਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਸਨ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਗਿਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਬੋਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਸਮੂਹ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਰਸੂਲ ਯਹੂਦਾ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਯਹੂਦਾ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੰਮ ਸੱਕੇ।

“ਹੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ, ਜੋ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਪੋਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਯਹੂਦਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਹੀ ਵਾਪਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੂਦਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਇਹ ਉਹੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜਵਾਇਆ।”

ਇੱਕ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਐਬਸਾਲੋਨ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਭੱਜ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਕਈ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਹਨ। ਬਹੁਤ ਲੋਕੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਨੇ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਗਿਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਅਜੇ ਬੋਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਬਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ, ਯਹੂਦਾ ਉੱਥੇ ਆ ਗਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਭੇਜੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਆਗੂ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਡਾਂਗਾਂ ਫ਼ੜੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਰਾਤ ਦਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਹੂਦਾ ਇਸੱਕਰਿਯੋਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 13:27
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਯਹੂਦਾ ਨੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕਰ ਗਿਆ। ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਕਰਨਾ ਛੇਤੀ ਕਰ।”
