Revelation 18:15
“ਵਪਾਰੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੀ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਇਹ ਉਹੀ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਵੇਚਕੇ ਅਮੀਰ ਬਣੇ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਰੋਣਗੇ ਤੇ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

Ezekiel 27:31
ਸਿਰ ਮੁਨਾਵਣਗੇ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ। ਪਹਿਨਣਗੇ ਉਹ ਸੋਗੀ ਵਸਤਰ। ਰੋਵਣਗੇ ਉਹ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਰੋਦਾ ਹੈ ਕੋਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਰ ਗਏ ਬੰਦੇ ਲਈ।
Revelation 18:10
ਰਾਜੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਤਸੀਹਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਡਰ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਰ ਖਲੋਤੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਰਾਜੇ ਆਖਣਗੇ: ‘ਭਿਆਨਕ, ਉਫ਼ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਭਿਆਨਕ। ਤੇ ਬੇਬੀਲੋਨ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ, ਤੇਰੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਇੱਕ ਘੰਟੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਗਈ।’
Acts 16:19
ਉਸ ਕੁੜੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੇ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਉਹ ਪੈਸੇ ਕੁਮਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਉਸਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਲਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਖਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਏ। ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਸੂਬੇਦਾਰ ਉੱਥੇ ਸਨ।
Mark 11:17
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਹ ਪੋਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ‘ਮੇਰਾ ਘਰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਦਾ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਕਹਾਵੇਗਾ,’ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ‘ਡਾਕੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੁਕਣ ਦੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।’”
Zechariah 11:5
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਖਰੀਦਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਚਦੇ ਹਨ। ਖਰੀਦਦਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਮੁੱਲ ਤੇ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਖਰੀਦ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ। ਵਪਾਰੀ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਚ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੋ, ਮੈਂ ਅਮੀਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ!’ ਆਜੜੀ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਲਈ ਉਦਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ।
Amos 5:16
ਮਹਾਂ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਸਰਬਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਚੌਁਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕ ਕੁਰਲਾਉਣਗੇ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਚੀਤਕਾਰ ਕਰਣਗੇ ਲੋਕ ਭਾੜੇ ਤੇ ਵੈਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਰੀਦਣਗੇ।
Hosea 12:7
“ਯਾਕੂਬ ਅਸਲੀ ਵਪਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਧੋਖਾ ਦੇ ਦਿੰਦਾ। ਉਹ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਤੋਂਲ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Judges 18:23
ਮੀਕਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਮੁੜੇ। ਅਤੇ ਮੀਕਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ ਹੈ? ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕਤਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਹੋਏ ਹੋ?”
