ਫ਼ਿਰ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦੂਤ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਦੂਸਰਾ ਦੂਤ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਉਹ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਬੇਬੀਲੋਨ ਦੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਨਗਰੀ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਦਕਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਮੈਅ ਪੀਣ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਲਾਇਆ।”

ਵੱਡਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਟ ਗਿਆ। ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬੇਬੀਲੋਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੁੱਲਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਕਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਇੱਕ ਮੈਅ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Revelation 11:8
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਗਵਾਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਵੱਡੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਗਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਏ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਦੂਮ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਉਹੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਰਿਆ ਸੀ।
Revelation 19:2
ਨਿਆਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹਨ ਸੱਚੇ ਤੇ ਸਹੀ। ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਮਹਾਨ ਵੇਸ਼ਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਲੀਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਵੇਸ਼ਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਦੇਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ।”

ਉਹ ਔਰਤ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੇਖੀ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਾ ਨਗਰ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।”

ਦੂਸਰੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਨ ਪਾ ਸੱਕੇ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਹ ਮੂਰਤ ਬੋਲ ਸੱਕਦੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਦਾ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸੱਕਦੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
Nahum 3:19
ਨੀਨਵਾਹ! ਤੂੰ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈਂ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਤੇਰਾ ਘਾਵ ਪੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਤੇਰਾ ਦੁਰ-ਸਮਾਚਾਰ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾੜੀਆਂ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸਭ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਨ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਤੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਉਸ ਕਾਰਣ ਉਹ ਬੜੇ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਸਨ।
Ezekiel 16:15
Jerusalem, the Unfaithful Bride ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਨੇਕ ਨਾਮੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਾਸ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੇਵਫ਼ਾ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਤੂੰ ਹਰ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਸਵਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਵਿਹਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ!
Jeremiah 51:64
ਫ਼ਿਰ ਆਖੀਂ, ‘ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਬਾਬਲ ਵੀ ਡੁੱਬ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਬਾਬਲ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਭ੍ਭਰੇਗਾ। ਬਾਬਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਡੁੱਬੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਉੱਥੇ ਵਾਪਰਨਗੀਆਂ।’” ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਇੱਥੇ ਖਤਮ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
