Psalm 106:15
ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੰਗੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

ਪਰ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਜੋਧਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਮਹਾਮਾਰੀ ਭੇਜੇਗਾ। ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਓਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਗਵਾ ਲਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਬੀਮਾਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਭਾਰ ਘਟਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅੱਗ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਬਲਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਚੀਜ਼ ਸੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੀ।

ਬਟੇਰ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹਵਾ ਵਗਾਈ। ਹਵਾ ਨੇ ਬਟੇਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵੱਲ ਵਹਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਬਟੇਰਾ ਨੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਉਡਾਰੀ ਲਾਈ ਉੱਥੇ ਇੰਨੇ ਬਟੇਰ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਧਰਤੀ ਕੱਜੀ ਗਈ। ਬਟੇਰ ਤਕਰੀਬਨ ਤਿੰਨ ਫੁੱਟ ਗਹਿਰੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਨ। ਉੱਥੇ ਹਰ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਟੇਰ ਹੀ ਬਟੇਰ ਸਨ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਬੰਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਸੀ।
Psalm 78:29
ਉੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਖਾਣ ਦੀ ਲਾਲਸਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਬਣੀ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਛਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
Isaiah 24:16
ਅਸੀਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਸੁਣਾਂਗੇ। ਇਹ ਗੀਤ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, “ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਹੈ! ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੁਝ ਦੇਖ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹਨ। ਗਦਾਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ।”
