Proverbs 28:2
ਜਦੋਂ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਹੀਣ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ, ਇਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਜਲਦੀ ਬਦਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜੋ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਝਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਇੱਕ ਅੱਡੋਲ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

| many | רַבִּ֣ים | rabbîm | ra-BEEM |
| are the princes | שָׂרֶ֑יהָ | śārêhā | sa-RAY-ha |
| man a by but thereof: | וּבְאָדָ֥ם | ûbĕʾādām | oo-veh-ah-DAHM |
| of understanding | מֵבִ֥ין | mēbîn | may-VEEN |
| and knowledge | יֹ֝דֵ֗עַ | yōdēaʿ | YOH-DAY-ah |
| state the | כֵּ֣ן | kēn | kane |
| thereof shall be prolonged. | יַאֲרִֽיךְ׃ | yaʾărîk | ya-uh-REEK |
