Malachi 2:14
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ, “ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਣ ਨਹੀਂ?” ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਬਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਬਦੀ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਚਸ਼ਮਦੀਦ ਗਵਾਹ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਬੇਵਫ਼ਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਤੇਰੀ ਜਵਾਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਮੁਟਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ, ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਬਣ-ਸਖੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੌਂਹਾਂ ਖਾਕੇ ਪਤੀ-ਪਤਨੀ ਬਣੇ ਪਰ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਖਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
