Revelation 13:17
ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਇਸ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਖਰੀਦੋ ਫ਼ਰੋਖਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਉਸ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਖਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ 15:2
ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਉਹ ਸ਼ੀਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਰਗਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਗ ਬਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਕੰਢੇ ਖਲੋਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਖਿਆ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਸੀ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੰਗੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ।
ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ 13:16
ਦੂਸਰੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੋਟੇ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ, ਅਮੀਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਰੀਬਾਂ, ਅਜ਼ਾਦਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਜਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ 13:18
ਇਹ ਸਮਝਣ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜੋ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਢ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸੰਖਿਆ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੀ ਸੰਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸੰਖਿਆ 666 ਹੈ।
ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ 3:12
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਥੰਮ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਮੰਦਰ ਛੱਡਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਵੇਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਤੇ ਲਿਖ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਤੇ ਲਿਖ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨਵਾਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਨਾਮ ਵੀ ਲਿਖ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ 14:9
ਦੋਨਾਂ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਦੂਤ ਆਇਆ। ਇਸ ਤੀਜੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਉੱਚੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਜਾਂ ਹੱਥ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ 17:5
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਿਰਲੇਖ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਸਿਰਲੇਖ ਦਾ ਲੁਕਵਾਂ ਅਰਥ ਇਹੀ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ; ਮਹਾਨ ਬੇਬੀਲੋਨ ਵੇਸ਼ਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਭ ਬਦੀਆਂ
ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ 22:4
ਉਹ ਉਸਦਾ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਥਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
