Proverbs 17:25
ਮੂਰਖ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਲਈ ਅਫ਼ਸੋਸ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਮੂਰਖ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਨਮ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਅਮਨੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਮਾਰ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਭੈਣ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਤਾਮਾਰ ਸੀ। ਤਾਮਾਰ ਬੜੀ ਹੀ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ, ਅਮਨੋਨ ਨੇ ਤਾਮਾਰ ਦੀ ਲਾਲਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਸਿਆਣਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਸਰੋਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਮੂਰਖ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਖੁਦ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਤਿਰਸੱਕਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਇੱਕ ਮੂਰਖ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਝਗੜਾਲੂ ਪਤਨੀ ਛੱਤ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ ਛੇਕ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
