ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਯਾਈਰ ਨੇ ਓਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਕਸਬਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਕਸਬਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਈਰ ਦੇ ਕਸਬੇ ਆਖਿਆ।

ਯਾਈਰ ਦੇ 30 ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ। ਜੋ ਕਿ 30 ਖੋਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਵਾਰੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ 30 ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ 30 ਨਗਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਵੀ ਯਾਈਰ ਦੇ ਨਗਰ ਅਖਵਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਮਹਨਇਮ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰਾ ਬਾਸ਼ਾਨ, ਬਾਸ਼ਾਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਓਗ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ, ਬਾਸ਼ਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਾਈਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਸਬੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਸਨ। (ਕੁੱਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਸਠ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਸਨ।)

ਉਪਰੰਤ ਜਦੋਂ ਹਸਰੋਨ 60 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮਾਕੀਰ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾ ਲਿਆ। ਮਾਕੀਰ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੀ। ਹਸਰੋਨ ਨੇ ਮਾਕੀਰ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਭੋਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਸਗੂਬ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ।

ਬਨ-ਗ਼ਬਰ ਰਾਮੋਥ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਾਈਰ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਜੋ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਗੋਬ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਬਾਸ਼ਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ। ਭਾਵ 60 ਵੱਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਲੀਸ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਦੇ ਅਰਲਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਨ।
