ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਠੀਕ ਹੈ, ਅਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਈਏ ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਲੈ ਕੀ ਜਾਈਏ? ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਤੋਹਫ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ? ਹੁਣ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਥੈਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੋਜਨ ਵੀ ਮੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵਾਂਗੇ”
ਯਹੂ ਦਾਹ 1:11
ਇਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਬੁਰਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹੀ ਰਾਹ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਇਨ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪੈਸਾ ਕਮਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਰਾਹ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਰਾਹ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਪਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਕੋਰਾਹ ਵਾਂਗ ਲੜੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਰਾਹ ਵਾਂਗ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
੨ ਪਤਰਸ 2:15
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਝੂਠੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਹੀ ਰਸਤਾ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਗਲਤ ਰਾਹ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹੀ ਰਸਤਾ ਫ਼ੜਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੇ ਫ਼ੜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਬਿਲਆਮ ਬਿਓਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਬਿਲਆਮ ਗਲਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੈਸੇ ਕੁਮਾਉਣ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਸੀ।
ਤੀਤੁਸ 1:11
ਇੱਕ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਵਿਖਾਉਣ ਯੋਗ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਗਲਤ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਬਿਲ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਕੇ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ, ਪੂਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਕੇਵਲ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਸਾ ਕਮਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਅਮੀਰ ਬਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਪਰਤਾਵੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਫ਼ਸ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਕੰਮੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਨੀਕਾਰਕ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਲੈਣੀਆਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਤੇ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਾਡੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ, ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਭੋਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭਰਮੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ਾਮਦ ਭਰੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਮਰਾਹ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸੋਚਣ ਲਾ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮੈ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੌਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੁਝ ਮੁੱਠੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਟੁਕੜਿਆਂ ਬਦਲੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਦੀਆਂ ਹੋ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਝੂਠਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਨਾ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਉਣ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 56:11

ਗਿਣਤੀ 24:1
ਬਿਲਆਮ ਦਾ ਤੀਸਰਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਾਲੇ ਇਲਮ ਰਾਹੀ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪਰ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਮੋੜਕੇ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖਿਆ।
ਗਿਣਤੀ 23:23
ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਦੂਗਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਦੂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੋ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਸੱਕੇ। ਸਹੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੇ, ਲੋਕ ਯਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਇਹੀ ਆਖਣਗੇ। ‘ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮਿਆਂ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖੋ, ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ!’
