ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਚਾਲ ਖੇਡਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੇਰੋਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲੱਭ ਸੱਕਣ।
