Leviticus 9:10
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਤੋਂ ਚਰਬੀ, ਗੁਰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਲੇਜੀ ਦਾ ਚਰਬੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉੱਚਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਦਾ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਉੱਚੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਦਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਮਾਣੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਵਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਤਮੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਮਾਣੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਦਾਸ ਨੇ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 53:10
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਚਲਣ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬਲਦ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਅੰਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਚਰਬੀ, ਕਲੇਜੀ ਦਾ ਚਰਬੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਗੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਪਰਲੀ ਚਰਬੀ ਲਈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਾੜਿਆ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 4:34
ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਖੂਨ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਂਗਲੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੋਨਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਲੇਲੇ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਖੂਨ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੇ ਥੜੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਡੋਲ੍ਹ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 4:8
ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਲਦ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਚਰਬੀ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕਰ ਲਵੇ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਚਰਬੀ ਲੈਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਹਿਸਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਹੈ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 3:9
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵੇ, ਵਜੋਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚਰਬੀ, ਸਾਰੀ ਪੂਛ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਚਰਬੀ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਅੰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਹੋਵੇ, ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੀਢ਼ ਦੀ ਹੱਡੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜਿਉਂ ਪੂਛ ਕੱਟ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।)
ਯਸਈਆਹ 66:2
ਮੈਂ ਖੁਦ ਸਭ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ। ਇੱਥੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਜੀਆਂ ਨੇ।” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ। “ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੋ, ਮੈਂ ਕਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ? ਮੈਂ ਗਰੀਬ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਦਾਸ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਨੇ।
