Leviticus 6:25
“ਹਾਰੂਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ; ਇਹ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਦੀ ਬਿਧੀ ਹੈ। ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਅੱਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ।

ਅਹਬਾਰ 1:11
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਉਸ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ, ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੂਨ, ਸਾਰੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਡੋਲ੍ਹਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 1:3
“ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਗਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਬੇਨੁਕਸ ਨਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਦੁਆਰ ਤੇ ਲਿਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸ ਭੇਟ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 1:5
“ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਲਦ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ, ਜਾਜਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਦੁਆਰ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੂਨ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਡੋਲ੍ਹਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 4:29
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਬੱਕਰੀ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ।

“ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋ; ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਅਚਨਚੇਤੀ ਪਾਪ ਕਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਕਰ ਬੈਠਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਮਨਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ:

ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਦੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 6:17
ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਨੂੰ ਖਮੀਰ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਕਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਨੂੰ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਵਾਂਗ ਅੱਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 21:22
ਉਹ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਭੋਜਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਅੱਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਭੋਜਨ ਖਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
