Leviticus 4:28
ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਪ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਬੱਕਰੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਨੁਕਸ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਬੱਕਰੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਖਾਤਿਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਭੇਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਲਿਆਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਅਹਬਾਰ 4:3
“ਜੇ ਮਸਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਾਜਕ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਪ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਬੇਨੁਕਸ ਜਵਾਨ ਬਲਦ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਰੋਮੀਆਂ 8:3
ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਹੀਣ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਾਪੀ ਸੁਭਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਕੁਝ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੋ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੀ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸੇ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਸਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਦਾ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਚਢ਼ਾਵੇ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਪਾਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਿੰਦਣ ਲਈ ਇਨਸਾਨੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 31:22
ਬੇਵਫ਼ਾ ਪੁੱਤਰੀਏ, ਤੂੰ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਕੁ ਚਿਰ ਇਧਰ ਓਧਰ ਭਟਕਦੀ ਰਹੇਂਗੀ? “ਤੂੰ ਕਦੋਂ ਘਰ ਪਰਤ ਕੇ ਆਵੇਂਗ? ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਵੀਂ ਸਿਰਜਣਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ: ਆਦਮੀ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਔਰਤ।”
ਯਸਈਆਹ 7:14
ਪਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਦਰਸਾਵੇਗਾ: ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਔਰਤ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖੋ। ਉਹ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ। ਉਹ ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਇਮਾਨੂਏਲ ਰੱਖੇਗੀ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 5:6
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਪ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਦੋਸ਼ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਲੇਲੀ ਜਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਬੱਕਰੀ ਲਿਆਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਲਈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਪਰਾਸਚਿਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 4:14
ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਪ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਚੱਲ ਜਾਵੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀ ਕੌਮ ਖਾਤਰ ਇੱਕ ਜਵਾਨ ਬਲਦ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਲਦ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 3:15
ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਤੇਰੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਉਸਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਤੇਰਾ ਸਿਰ ਕੁਚਲੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੈਰ ਨੂੰ ਡਸੇਂਗਾ।”
