ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬਣਨ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ।”

“ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਮਂਨਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ;
