Leviticus 19:27
“ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੇ ਉੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਾਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੰਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਦੇ ਆਸੇ-ਪਾਸੇ ਤੇ ਉੱਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਦਾਢ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੰਨਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ।

ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 48:37
ਹਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਿਰ ਮੁਨਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਦਾਹੜੀ ਕੱਟੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਕੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਖੂਨ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਨੇ। ਹਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਲੱਕ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਸੋਗੀ ਵਸਤਰ ਪਹਿਨੇ ਹੋਏ ਨੇ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 14:1
ਇਸਰਾਏਲ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਖਾਸ ਲੋਕ “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਹੋ। ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਮਰ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਟ ਮਾਰਕੇ ਜਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਮੁਨਾਕੇ ਅਫ਼ਸੋਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 16:6
“ਉੱਘੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਧਾਰਣ ਬੰਦੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਰ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਫ਼ਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਰੋਵੇਗਾ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਸੋਗ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਸਿਰ ਮੁਨਾਵੇਗਾ।

“ਇਹ ਜਾਜਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁਨਾਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਲੰਮੇ ਵਾਲ ਉਗਾਣਗੇ। ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕਤਰਨਾ ਹੀ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
