Leviticus 13:3
ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੀ ਚਮੜੀ ਉਤਲੇ ਫ਼ੋੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਫ਼ੋੜੇ ਦਾ ਵਾਲ ਚਿੱਟਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਫ਼ੋੜਾ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੀ ਚਮੜੀ ਨਾਲ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਕੋੜ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਖਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਪਲੀਤ ਹੈ।

ਪਾਪ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸਾਡੀ ਜੰਗ ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸਿੱਟਾ ਕੀ ਹੈ? ਕੀ ਪਾਪ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਇੱਕੋ ਹਨ? ਨਿਰਸੰਦੇਹ ਨਹੀਂ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਮੈਂ ਪਾਪ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਜੇਕਰ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ “ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ,” ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਕਰਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਾ ਪਤਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ।

ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਦਿਨੋ ਦਿਨ ਹੋਰ ਭੈੜੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਰਖ ਬਨਾਉਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮੂਰਖ ਬਣਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

“ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੀ ਚਮੜੀ ਤੇ ਸੋਜਸ਼ ਜਾਂ ਖੁਜਲੀ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਫ਼ੋੜਾ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਫ਼ੋੜਾ ਕੋੜ੍ਹ ਵਰਗਾ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਜਕ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਜਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਇੱਕ ਜਾਜਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕੋਲ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਤੂੰ ਇੰਨੀ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੈਂ। ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ (ਦੇਸਾਂ) ਨੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਧੌਁਸ ਜਮਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਵੇਸਵਾ ਵਰਗਾ ਵਿਹਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ।” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ।
ਹਿਜ਼ ਕੀ ਐਲ 44:23
“ਇਸਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਜਾਨਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਾਕ ਕੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਕੀ ਹੈ।
ਹੋ ਸੀਅ 7:9
ਅਜਨਬੀ ਉਸਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਲੁਟ ਲਿਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਧੌਲੇ ਆਉਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਆਖਦਾ, “ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛੋ ਕਿ ਬਿਵਸਬਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੀ ਆਖਦੀ ਹੈ:

ਇੱਕ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਬਾ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਨ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਨ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰਨ। ਇੱਕ ਜਾਜਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਬਾ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦਾ ਦੂਤ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਗਿਆਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡੇ।”

ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਵਰਗ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੁੰਜੀਆਂ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਜੋ ਨਿਆਂ ਤੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਜਿਸ ਮੁਆਫ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਤੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਮਾਫ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।”
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 13:3
ਅਬਰਾਮ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਨੇਗੇਵ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਤ-ਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਬੈਤ-ਏਲ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਈ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਓਹੀ ਥਾਂ ਸੀ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਡੇਰਾ ਲਾਇਆ ਸੀ।
