Judges 13:4
ਕੋਈ ਮੈਅ ਜਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਾ ਪੀਵੀਂ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਨਾ ਕਰੀਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਹੈ।

“ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖ: ਕੋਈ ਆਦਮੀ ਜਾਂ ਔਰਤ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੇ। ਵੱਖ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਖਾਸ ਸਮਾਂ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਨਜ਼ੀਰ ਸੱਦਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਕਜ਼ਾૃ 13:14
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਜੋ ਅੰਗੂਰੀ ਵੇਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਅ ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੀਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਭੋਜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਉਹ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।”

ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਮੈਅ ਜਾਂ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੀਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਖੋਂ ਹੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 11:27
ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਲੱਤਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੰਜਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹੇਗਾ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੀਕ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 11:47
ਇਹ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਪਲੀਤ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਕ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਨਿਖੇੜ ਸੱਕਣ। ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਣ ਸੱਕਣ ਕਿ ਕਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਖਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ।

ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ‘ਤੂੰ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇਵੇਂਗੀ। ਕੋਈ ਮੈਅ ਜਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਾ ਪੀਵੀਂ। ਕੋਈ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਭੋਜਨ ਨਾ ਕਰੀਂ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਲੜਕਾ ਖਾਸ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਲੜਕਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਨਮ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੀਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਬੰਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।’”

ਪਰ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਪ੍ਰਭੂ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ ਅਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਜਾਂ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਧੀ।”
